Smithfield is a town on the James river that is full of kind people. Great place to walk around visit a museum, great food selections. “Wharf Hill” restaurant highly recommend dining there great atmosphere & food even better. However If you’re looking for a party town staying up late kind of place this definitely isn’t it. Everything closes pretty early around 11, for us however that is perfect! We will be back for sure. ;)

Unique cute town great place to right a book.
Unique cute town great place to right a book. Just a few restaraunts but they are good. Downtown area is cute but everything shuts down at 5p. Minus the icecream shop open to 7p. Windsor park is great and there is a great thrift shop at the edge of town

Smithfield Station is unique and has the restaurant right under the hotel. We ate breakfast in the morning which was great. All you can eat buffet and we ate in the dining room the night before and just walked up the steps to our room. There is a park right across the street called Windsor Castle and they have trails and kayaking and a play area for kids. This hotel is located in a historic area and right on the Pagan river.
