I enjoyed staying in the same room the duration of my trip.
I enjoyed staying in the same room the duration of my trip. The rooms were very clean and no smells. Parking was convenient and I felt safe. Breakfast was good would have preferred bacon and or sausage for meat. The staff was very courteous, friendly and professional.

We called and emailed this hotel a little after 2 the day of to cancel our reservation, due to traffic issues and didn't feel we could make it that far for safety reasons. Yet this hotel ignored our cancelation over minutes and cared not one bit about our safety charging us anyway. We reported this to Booking.com also but have heard nothing. We stayed at a wonderful property 100 miles before this hotel. No more Super 8s or Booking.com for us

While I wouldn't consider Smithfield a "destination", it is an excellent choice for a short stay for interstate travellers, or for those who have business in the area. Many choices for good hotels, and excellent restaurants offering a huge variety of menus.
I would like in particular to recommend the Golden Corral near the Sheetz gas station. I had almost given up on Golden Corrals, having been to two mediocre ones in recent years, but this one was superb. Shout-out to the excellent staff! We could have paid three times the price for the delicious ribs, steak, shrimp, etc. at any other restaurant! T
We also always stop at Bernies whenever we are in town, and highly recommend it for those who have a sweet tooth. Beautiful pastries of all kinds, but I usually get a lemon croissant!
There is lots of shopping in the area. We always visit Carolina Pottery and Dewaynes (so beautiful at Christmastime!)
We always feel rejuvenated after a good meal, a nights rest, and a couple of hours stretching our legs in Smithfield.

We ate at the Mexican place right next to the hotel, sorry but I cannot remember the name. Staff quickly remedied a problem I was having with an outlet on the desk lamp that was not working. We also ate at Smithfield Chicken and BBQ which was surprisingly delicious.

We enjoy shopping at the outlet mall...always good deals to be found. We also like the Texas Steak House and the Mexican Cantina is good too. There are a lot of hotels to choose from in the Smithfield area not to mention it is located just off I-95. The Ava Gardner museum is located there and eventually I would like to visit when I have more time.

I love Smithfield NC I usually stay at the Sleep Inn on Equity dr. But because the rate on Priceline and booking. com was so low I figured I give country inn another shot. Very disappointed, as this was my 3rd and final time staying there. Covid season or not, this hotel just doesn’t do it for me.
I enjoyed Dewayne’s Gardens

And the outlets
Everything is so close and convenient.
Myrtle beach was only a 2hr 45min ride
Nice, no frills hotel, near the highway, lots of nearby shopping, restaurants, gas stations. Everything was clean and newly renovated, comfortable beds. Very quiet, especially considering how near we were to traffic outside. Coffee and some basic breakfast choices in the morning was appreciated. Helpful staff. If you just need a clean bed, a hot shower, and a quiet place for the night, this place is perfect. Excellent value for the price!
The nice lady on booking in let us in early & upgraded our room which was nice. Everything was fine in the room & the hotel. Breakfast was good evry morning & evryone seemed happy that we spoke to. We always speak to All the staff including the cleaners & kitchen staff. We had a laugh with all the staff which was nice. We even met the staff security K9 who could lick you to death.
The hotel was easy to find off I 95 and close to restaurants if needed. The rooms were very large and comfortable. The breakfast was ok - did the job so to speak. Although some of the proeprty was a bit dated it appeared there were redecorating works going on so that is a positive. I was grateful I was give 4 rooms on the same floor and relatively close together as requested.
A little roadside motel, on a fairly quiet road, close to Smithfield. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No frills but everything you need. Very quiet at night for a restful sleep. A very good alternative to the big hotels in town. Very friendly, helpful staff, as you can expect from most folks in North Carolina. Support a small local business instead of a big chain hotel.
I have stayed at and rated this hotel at least once before. The previous stay was far more comfortable. This time, a leak somewhere in the room or near enough to it persisted all night. I tested the sink, the tub, and the toilet and found nothing; but the drip continued. No sleep. Something like that can ruin an otherwise good rating.
Ok breakfast, nice sitting area for breakfast
Staff very friendly
Strong Odor to hotel
Furniture in room dirty, dated
Mattress and pillows lumpy
Picnic table outside lots of ants and trash
Bathroom dated
Hallway carpets dirty
The cleanliness of the hotel was a plus. The food was pretty good. It was very convenient to the shopping area which is always good. It was actually in walking distance but it was too hot to walk so we drove instead.
Breakfast was good - little omelette, would have liked hash browns too.
Newer hotel rooms fresh. Across 2 parking areas you are at the large Outlet mall and an Outback restaurant. Very convenient.
I liked that the hotel staff took the time to upgrade my bed choices. So that my family could have adjoining rooms.
The hotel was nice and clean, staff was very friendly and welcoming as well.
The cleanliness was immaculate! Cleanest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Everything was to our satisfaction and standards. Very pleased with everything and the friendly, warm employees.
The hotel was beautiful, plus there was alot of activities for us after going out. The hotel was next to alot of different restaurants and a great outlet mall
