Front Desk staff were friendly, amenable and extremely helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and the bed was the comfiest I've had in the USA on this trip. Great night's sleep with super fluffy pillows. Good breakfast & perfect location to get to downtown. Altogether 10 out of 10.

I would stay here again anytime. The hotel is built as a log cabin and was just incredible! The views are stunning! I could stay for a week! Bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was very professional and friendly. Everything you need is readily available right at the facility. The restaurant is just across the street and has lots of choices for any pallet. Man at the desk was argumentative and put us on the third floor which was a real problem? as my husband is 78 years old and walks with a cane and they had no working elevator. We went to another hotel, but was still charged for the Fairfield. Had to fight the charges. My family and I loved our stay in Spearfish, the home we rented was a dream home (loved the barn doors), and our hosts were terrific people, who checked on us, or helped in any way if we had questions. They were awesome people (Shelly and Jason)! Shelly decorated the christmas tree in our home, it was so pretty, and made it feel like our own home. Great decor Shelly. Lovely town to stay in.
Lovely town to stay in. Spearfish Canyon was awesome and only about 5 minutes from town. Spearfish is close to Deadwood if you want to visit there and see the Mt. Moriah Cemetery where Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok are buried. Would stay in Spearfish again!ELLENUnited States - 10Scored 10

A surprisingly beautiful place to spend our vacation - near Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Keystone, and Sturgis. The Front Porch in Keystone was a great place to eat. Just a short drive from Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Great for the family. Great for hiking. Bridal Veil Falls, Devil's Bathtub, Roughlock Falls, 76 Trail. Wonderful for the heart of summer.

This hotel was a hop skip and jump from the BHSU Campus where we spent most of our time and close to the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Biway.
