We visited the small town. It was homey and inviting.
We visited the small town. It was homey and inviting. The Iowa Project Brewery was sooo tasty and cooking. We were able to visit with the owners. The wait staff and food at Godfathers Pizza was also amazing. There is also a new coffee shop. We were able to be a part of their soft opening. Nice place.ScottUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Spencer is a wonderful little town. We drove around a bit. Lovely homes. I could live there. Has that small town vibe, but yet looks of amenities. Really really nice! Spencer Inn was a very nice stay. Clean, comfy, & great price too!

It also has a chair and ottoman that were nice to watch TV. This is the first place since the Covid pandemic started that actually has housekeeping every day. I was very surprised to come back to my room and find it all fresh and restocked after being out for the day. Water pressure was great and the hot water plentiful.

A longer time frame was given to have breakfast which was great for those who rose early, as well as for those who rose later in the morning.
