Breakfast was great!!! They had things to make breakfast burritos. I don't really care for flour tortillas but there were plenty of other options. I did not leave hungry. I did LOVE the turkey sausage.

This facility was incredibly unsafe.
This facility was incredibly unsafe. Unsafe, as in the door to the room did not lock nor did the door knob close. The only thing that kept the door shut was the chain on the door. You could see daylight coming through the door frame as it appeared to have been kicked in at some point. In addition to this there was a large hole at the base of the door to the adjoining room. You could see clearly through to the other room. There were NO towels left in the room for us. The front desk attendant told me she put them there herself.........sadly I was unable to find any towels. She never brought any to us either. For your own safety, I would highly recommend NOT staying here.

Good accommodations for the price.
Good accommodations for the price. Rooms need to be updated, but it's clean & comfortable with good water pressure in the shower & an excellent air conditioner! Walk next door to "Braums" for great food & ice cream!!!

There are plenty of places to eat.
There are plenty of places to eat. It is a large college town. Other wise the town itself is not that large. We did not spend much time in the town but are very familiar since we have been there several times.

Pleasant university town.
Pleasant university town. Stillwater Historical Museum is interesting for those wanting to learn local history. Oklahoma State University is set in its own enclave, with restaurants clustered on nearby streets. The present commercial zone is along Preston Street, with many restaurants to choose from, and a wide selection of retail outlets. Kudos to Firestone for efficiently repairing a tire on my rental car. The city is about 1-1/4 hours drive from Oklahoma City or Tulsa, and a car is required for off-hours arrival and departure, as well as navigating between widely spaced commercial establishments.

There was a good choice of restaurants and gas stations in the area. Traffic wasn't too busy, and roads were easy to navigate. We ate at the Rib City bbq place. It wasn't far from the hotel and very tasty and uncrowded. I enjoyed the baked potato with smoked chicken. YUM!!
Of all the more affordable motels in Stillwater, this is generally the cleanest and safest. They also provide a limited breakfast, which is a positive attribute for the price. Best value for lower income folks, by far.
Love this hotel, rooms ans bathrooms are always super clean. Hot breakfast is really good, employees are very friendly and nice. My son is a freshman at OSU and planning on staying here every time we come to visit 😀
The staff was friendly and attentive. They were always on time with the breakfast, which was way beyond the lame "continental" from other hotels. Rooms were spacious and had everything I needed for my stay.
Staff was excellent. They all seemed to genuinely care about customers and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Hotel was also very clean and felt new.
The location right on campus is superb. The hotel has a country club feel to it. We can't wait to stay there again when our son attends OSU in the fall.
