The room was very nice but that's about it.
The room was very nice but that's about it. The beach chairs that they had the nerve to charge for were broken and filthy. It was disgraceful!!! The restaurant was closed which was never disclosed to us. They charged 2 of my credit cards for the same drinks. The card I prepaid for the room. In addition to the card I personally handed in to pay for the drinks.. yet the hotel charged both credit cards for the same drinks. Further, the bar by the pool was filthy.. sticky tables and bird poop all over the chairs and tables. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone especially for the high end price they charge for the low end quality

Stuart looks like there’s a lot to do for the mature vacationers, one of our party was injured so we couldn’t walk downtown or experience the walking trails. We enjoyed the beaches like Bob Graham beach which have fewer people, showers but no bathrooms. There is seaweed on all of the beaches and the waves break quickly due to the slope of the shore. The Elliott Museum had lots of vintage automobiles, Highwaymen art, and recreations of life from the last century as well as local folklore. Traffic was ok and there are restaurants everywhere so you should find something to fit everyone’s tastes. We found chains like Outback and Bonefish to have the best prices and most consistent quality Enjoy!

Downtown was really cute and quaint.
Downtown was really cute and quaint. Some fantastic shopping along with some good restaurants. If you are looking for a really good seafood place, try King Neptune. It is about a 10 min drive but the food is fantastic! They are rated number 1 on TripAdvisor for ALL of Stuart!

super new and clean feeling town, absolutely beautiful place...
super new and clean feeling town, absolutely beautiful place, not as busy as some of the big resort towns but not a tiny burg either. lots to do and see and quality places to eat. and surprisingly affordable restaurants for the high quality seafood. An older Downton feel to some areas, but awesome!!
Prank and Sudhan (manager) have been absolutely amazing. I have stayed at many hotels over the years but have never been treated so well by anyone at a hotel before. Both have been great. They are the reason i have stayed here for 31 days straight. The facility is very clean and the cleaners do a great job. Michael is new and does maintenance and he has gone out of his way to make sure I had whatever I needed. This hotel is really great. The fact that I am going out of my way to rate my stay says a lot, as I’ve never done it before.
This is our first time to Hutchinson Island, we fell in love with the area and all that the island had to offer. The location of the Marriott and the Sandpiper building was ideal. Golfing, Tennis, walking paths and biking, so much to do to enhance your beach vacation! Great resturants all along the island offering many different options. Staff was friendly and room service did an awesome job straightening and cleaning our room daily.
The location of the house was very accessible to restaurants, shopping and the ocean. The home was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. The Welcome Book was very informative and helpful. The bikes, fishing rods and other amenities were a pleasant surprise. The Riverwalk restaurant in downtown Stuart was a delicious place to eat. The crab soup and summer salad was fantastic.
This was a great place to stay for the history of the hotel and the location ..... we walked all over downtown.
Just for anyone with walking issues.... don't think there is a elevator and rooms are upstairs in the hotel. We hope to return to stay at one of the cottages in the future. Family owned and they were there to greet and help with anything we might need.
I have chosen the hotel because of its location (I had some business activities in a short distance). The parking is very big and comfortable. Beds are big. Many towels. Air condition in the room. Comfortable sockets (power and USB) close to the bed for charging phones/computers/etc. Staff very friendly. The room was well cleaned every day.
The location of the property is fantastic. You are in the heart of downtown Stuart. Loads of beautiful independent shops, bars and restaurants. You are literally a stones throw away from the water. Again a beautiful walk way and bars right on the water. The beach is 5-7 minutes away.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
A good and inexpensive Restaurant is next door and they offer 10% discount for hotel guests.
A nice pool was available to the guests.
Even if the choice for breakfast was rather limited, they offered delicious waffles.
The layout of the room and amenities was very well done and comfortable. The hotel itself is in a great location, with easy access to a variety of local attractions. Breakfast was extremely convenient and had ample selection.
The location was wonderful. great backyard and I loved the screened in porch. I wish it had been available the third week of my stay in Stuart. The communication about the house between the owner and myself was very good.
Well breakfast on the hotel ad was misleading, the recording said it was a hot buffet with eggs sausage etc. It turned out to be cereal, yogurt, bagels & toast, but they did have hot pancake maker & coffee.
The beds are extremely comfy. The rooms are very clean. The staff goes above and beyond when it comes to any extra assistance. We will continue to use this Best Western in Stuart.
