The breakfast here was just like last year. Terrible. We actually went to Bob Evans for a satisfying breakfast.

Summersville is always our mid-point on our way to Holly River State Park. The Bob Evans restaurant is close by. We spend the night in Summersville, shop at Walmart for groceries before we move on the Holly River. We've followed this plan for many years and it works well for us.

Old Summersville is very quaint and cute.
Old Summersville is very quaint and cute. If you are a city person, I don't recommend. If you enjoy an adventure, history and sight seeing this is a great central point for Nicholas County. Not a lot of food options other than fast food and zero night life. Everything pretty much closes at 9 or 10pm.

Summersville is a great town.
Summersville is a great town. Especially if you're trip revolves around the lake and being active. Longpoint Bar& Grill is a must if you're going to eat. Maloney's is a great place as well.

A great little place to stop for the night if you're on a long drive.
For a small place, you can find just about everything that you would need on a road trip.
Had dinner at Applebee's, grabbed our java at Starbucks and gassed up all in the same plaza as the LaQuinta hotel where we stayed.

I have driven through here many times on my way from NY to SC. I always stop here for some reason or another and never considered stopping overnight until this time coming home. It was a pleasant surprise! Many options for shopping, eating and gas/auto/quick grab and go necessities. I have made this a go to spot from now on.

I had to call the front desk twice to have the tv fixed.
I had to call the front desk twice to have the tv fixed. Once because the picture was too dark and once because it wouldn't turn on. They were able to fix it but the image did not fit the screen.
Everything else was fine except my room did not get cleaned in between the nights I was there.
Pretty much bang on for the price. Clean, tidy, comfortable and warm rooms. Bed was incredibly comfortable. If you're just looking for a bed for the night you can't go wrong. Was passing through Summersville on my drive around WV and this pace was perfect. Special shout out to Tressa at the check in desk ( I hope I remembered your name correctly). Between herself and the manager they sorted out my booking and were on the phone to Booking.com for nearly an hour. Sorted it out with a smile. Excellent staff.
Comfortable bed and nice sized room. Only staff member we interacted with was a nice man at the front desk. Breakfast was good, lots of choices, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, toast, oranges/apples, cereal, yogurt, pancake machine. Location is next to a strip mall, but overall felt safe. Our room faced the mall and it was quiet at night. I think the other side of the hotel would be louder facing the interstate. Gas station right next door. Great pit stop location.
Your staff at this hotel is fantastic. When I checked in the girl was very welcoming and gave me information about surrounding area.. She was great.
When we went to breakfast, the lady there was also very fantastic.. We talked about the breakfast that was offered and agreed there should be fruit.. I got my breakfast bar and juice and started to eat.. Your employee came out and offered me one of her own oranges!!
Two great employees -
Our car broke down in Summersville WV. We were given a ride to the hotel from the garage. From the time we walked in the door till we left the staff there was wonderful. They were understanding and let us stay a few hours longer till our ride arrived the next. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The pool was clean and warm even being outside. All around great place! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
What breakfast! At 8:00 am. there was no orange juice - no jams - 3 slices of brown bread - no sausage or meat of any sort - no tea - no hot water. When the hostess was asked for something she said there was no more. The hotel was FULL - no vacancy by before 6:30. They should have been prepared for a full hotel which they certainly were not.
We were so pleasantly surprised with our overnight stay at Sleep Inn in Summersville. For a moderately priced hotel it was so nice, exceptionally clean, and the staff was great! Breakfast was included and the freshly made waffles were so good. It will be our go to when driving this route to visit family from now on.
Great location for the area, walking distance to coffee, meals and shopping (limited). Hotel was clean and bright, staff (Blake) was friendly, helpful & professional. Room was comfortable and breakfast offered a nice selection and was well attended to.
Travelling from Canada. Location is perfect for us as it is the first stop on way to Florida. Staff is friendly, room clean and breakfast plentiful. We stay at this hotel on return trip as well.
