Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and seemed clean, and the towels were decent. Like the fact there is a kitchenette and there is an ice dispenser by the lobby. The front desk people seemed nice but note addition below re: what we didn't like.

Emplpyees were nice and helpful and the room was nice and quite. The only suggestion I would have is to clean the hallway carpets more often.
Conveniently located off Interstate 20, this Sweetwater hotel features on-site horse stables. Guests can relax in the seasonal outdoor swimming pool. A complimentary full breakfast is served daily.
we just stayed one night arrived late and left early.
we just stayed one night arrived late and left early. I switched to EXPEDIA after this booking for the rest of the trip. I am shocked this particular Motel was even on the list. Worst stay ever after booking thru Booking.com I will stick with Expedia from now on

My focus for the weekend was the National WWII WASP Museum's annual Fly- In. It is amazing, and since my mother was a WASP (WOMen's Airforce Service Pilot), I was enthralled with the planes and pilots and history.
Sweetwater has lots of windmills, and lots of good food and cowboys at Buck's BBQ.

Staff and location.
Staff and location. Close to downtown which had a music festival in the evening with lots of local food trucks offering great brisket, Barb-b-que, and street dancing. Take the short ride to Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) Museum which has a very interesting exhibits. They had an Airshow and it was excellentwith vintage aircraft on display. I ate at a restaurant within easy walking distance, not fancy but great food. Hôtel does have a “panty” which offers good quality microwave meals, snacks and drinks. They have a large lobby for meeting with friends and family. Our group met each evening for a little happy hour. Walmart is across the highway (1 mile) if you forget anything, they sell wine & beer. Hôtel is pet and family friendly. Large swimming pool and workout room.

It is small enough, and rural enough, yet close to a larger city that has excellent medical facilities, to make it a real gem. The smallness of the city allows for a sense of community. Any larger, and that definitely starts getting lost. Being from Sweetwater, I am biased, but between football, various shows at the coliseum, Texas State Technical College, and the massive windmill farms out south of the city, and some pleasant lakes, it makes for a good life. It is also awesome to look out and see the plateaus with windmill on top of them, and see miles and miles, and also sun rising and setting. I probably love that just about more than anything.

We ate at Buck's - the best burgers we've ever eaten.
We ate at Buck's - the best burgers we've ever eaten. Of course we had to go to Wal-Mart. The people in Sweetwater are very friendly. We didn't do much else as we were tired of driving and needed a place to rest/sleep. Holiday Inn is the place to do that. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Beds were nice as was the bathroom.
Beds were nice as was the bathroom. However, false advertising about breakfast only a diabetic nightmare bagged to go breakfast. Coffee not ready until after 7:30 am. Also was not recognized as a member
Breakfast was better than expected (the sausage patties and fried potatoes were more like you would choose at the grocer on your own); coffee was excellent until it ran out. Other breakfast choices were the usual yoghurt, cereals, milk, juice, teas, grits, pancakes and standard institutional scrambled egg discs. Room was comfortable, everything functional and pet friendly. Very large swimming pool (which we had no time to use). Very friendly and Efficient desk staff. We got a very good pizza from a place 1 mile distant.
I have stayed at this Motel several times and I do mean several times. I would recommend this Motel to anybody and I will not stay anywhere else in Sweetwater. Everybody is nice respectful, courtesy, and they helped me with my eyes and anything else that I needed with me having medical problems. I've even stayed there just to get a break from my house here in Sweetwater.
Everything was great about this hotel. I had originally blocked rooms at the hamptons and wasnt told I’d be charged for rooms if no one checks in. Not the mention the hamptons “manager” was very ugly to me. I told them to eat my s$$t and went to holiday inn where they were very respectful and understanding. And treated me like a human being and not like some trash.
Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Coffee and coffee maker and cream etc. Bathroom with sample size shape, soap, conditioner, lotion, gel, en ought for two persons. Breakfast very complete and more than enough for a good start of the day. Contrasting it to other facilities such as La Quinta Lubbock, Sweetwater is a clear winner all around.
I stayed this hotel during my road trip from Mississippi to Washington. It looked like a brand new building, so the room was so clan and specious! The bed was comfortable, so I refreshed in the morning. Other things like breakfast was pretty much typical nation-wide chain hotels.
Price was unbeatable I never stayed in cheaper hotel than this one.
Staff was really friendly at check in and check out.
Bed was big and I slept the whole night like a toddler.
Nice and quiet area surrounding the hotel no one will bother you.
New building, fresh, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast service, would be nice if our server had a tip jar for helping us out. Thank you for taking safety precautions. Clean and elegant for such a great price. Excellent stay overall.
Everything was great. If one will compare to the same hotel in big city, it has different affect. For a small town like Sweetwatet. It is really good. No one was rude. I liked it there.
Very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was a standard frre breakfast but was still enjoyable. Full reccomend if you been to stay on Sweetwater, TX.
