All was great, in fact I would love to know what mattresses they have as both my wife and I had the best sleep in years.

I fly my personal airplane to Tehachapi once or twice a year and I always enjoy my stays. The airport is within walking distance of several hotels and the downtown area with it's restaurants that are good to very good, my favorite is Thai Hachapi. Kohnen's Country Bakery has good coffee and very good pastries. There are several art and gift shops worth checking out as well as a small museum, library, etc. It's a pleasant and safe little town to explore on foot any time of day. It's located in a valley surrounded by mountains and at an altitude of 4,000' so it's much cooler than the surrounding desert towns. People here are friendly.

Old Historic Tehachapi was very cute, easy to walk around.
Old Historic Tehachapi was very cute, easy to walk around. Antique shops Go2Girls(sp?) & Auntie Em's was full of wonder and lots of fun.I found some art supplies at the Tehachapi Arts Center where they had a lot of local artists art for sale. The bakery was good and the line went quick even thought it looked long. Easy street parking. The new Tehachapi was very commercial and convenient.

We stop in Tehachapi on our way to Arizona.
We stop in Tehachapi on our way to Arizona. It breaks up the trip. We always stay at the Best Western Plus - which is very nice. This is a VERY windy town, but we don't care. We look forward to a wonderful dinner at a nearby restaurant called Jakes. Delicious food and service is great. We usually stay there 2 to 4 times a year, but haven't checked out anything else in the town, as we are there only for one night.

Interesting small town.
Interesting small town. Nice railroad museum and many people drive out to see "The Loop", a circular spiral rail feature allowing trains to make it up the grade to the town. Some nice, small and local restaurants.

Tehachapi is a good place if you're a railfan, (someone who likes watching trains) it's the only reason I was there. Liked the town, everyone I met was friendly, except at the Ranch Motel. Had a great dinner at Kelcy's Cafe, good home style cooking. Good breakfast at the Village Grill. Currently the railroad museum is only open Fri, Sat & Sun. But the train viewing platform is open to the public 24 hours a day. Next time will spend more than one day and stay at a much nicer facility.
Night auditor was horrible she had the front desk a mess and had someone that was not an employee there. Her customer service was horrible but the morning front desk Ty was amazing she would be the only reason I would come back to this hotel she represent the hotel very well. She should be commended
Tylyn Hughey you were amazing
The location was perfect after a long drive to get there. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and safe I felt. My room was better than perfect. I have already recommended that my coworkers stay at Fairfield Inn when travelling to Tehachapi.
Large comfortable room, very good breakfast buffet. Hotel was very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Easily accessed from the main road and easy to locate, convenience of a gas station across the road was good too. Plenty of free parking.
As a PCT hiker, this was a great hotel to stay. The breakfast was excellent and they have laundry facilities on site as well. It's within walking distance of Walmart which was a bonus.
The extra fee was $20 a night for our dog. This is our go-to hotel in Tehachapi when we are visiting family in the area. Really like the new pool and jacuzzi. A real plus.
No breakfast. Good location except for approx. 40 trains overnight blowing their whistles, bed was comfortable. Refrigerator worked. It seemed safe. Pet friendly.
This is the best hotel we have stayed at since being in the USA. It was clean, staff were wonderful.pool and spa were great and the breakfast was exceptional.
