It was cold and wet. We were tired, hungry, and hadn't planned the stay. The first accommodation we stopped at was so pleasant and helpful, but they had no rooms. It was surrounded by eateries. The sweet cheerful lady helped us find another place to stay. Everyone else we met seemed as blase as we were. Must have been the weather. Maybe it was hunger. We started our day with a couple hours at the Cameron Park Zoo and ended with a tour of the Dr. Pepper Museum. Both were great values for our budget and also very interesting. We went to visit Magnolia and that is what we got.
We went to visit Magnolia and that is what we got. We did all things Magnolia, found an awesome church to go to on Sunday and even went to the Dr. Pepper museum. We had a great time and everything we did was within 3-5 miles of our hotel!

The hotel is directly next to Magnolia, so it's easy to walk there without worrying about parking. The rooms are clean and large with beautiful furnishings, and they also provide snacks and drinks in the room for a small fee ($1-$2). The complimentary breakfast is amazing, and it comes with mimosas and freshly-made kolaches. If you're staying in Waco, this is the place to stay. Would highly recommend!
