Days Inn by Wyndham Wall, hotel in Wall

Located 10 minutes’ drive from Badlands National Park, this Wall, South Dakota motel serves a daily continental breakfast to all guests.

The room was very nice, clean new carpet, newer cabinets for tv, microwave, etc. The sink was located separately from the toilet/shower area so two could get ready at the same time. The bed was comfortable, not saggy. A lamp table on only one side of the bed though. All very clean!

    Wall was great!

Wall was great! We departed too early to visit Wall Drug as we were more interested in wildlife photography in Badlands National Park. We had an early breakfast at the Badlands Saloon and Grille which we really enjoyed...great food!

    Family friendly, kitschy as ever.

Family friendly, kitschy as ever. Gotta do it at least once! I wish they offered pizza in the cafeteria/cafe. (I miss the old Cactus Lounge Cafe.) All the bars/restaurants on Main Street were packed, so we ended up at Red Rock (on Glenn Street). It was a delicious find! Everyone loved their food — from brisket to burgers, to friendly service. Happy to have discovered this gem..

Wall is not a large town and if you are primarily stopping there to visit the Badlands then it is a good choice. There are only several restaurants otherwise there are gas stations and a little market that is wildly overpriced.

Other than the famous Wall Drugs, the main attractions here are the National Grasslands Visitor Center, the very scenic Badlands National Park, and the very informative Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. Otherwise, the town is pretty much a bust IMHO.

The log cabin had cute country decor, it was clean and fresh smelling. The staff was very helpful and kind. The ceiling fan was nice when we didn't want the air conditioning. The back row of cabins have a beautiful view of an open field and sunsets. The cabin front porch has chairs and a table to enjoy a morning coffee. It is very close to the Badlands National Park entrance. Coupons were provided at check in for breakfast and drink discounts at tasty local restaurants near the famed Wall Drug Store.

The personnel was very nice and helpful. Despite some reservation issues, the support was very excellent and effective. We were very grateful for the way it was handled. The room was clean and nicely equipped. The breakfast was served in the restaurant near the hotel, so it could be a disadvantage for some guests but concerning the town and its unique attractions, we consider this as an interesting feature.

My double queen bed room was very nice, clean and modernized. Easy access to the Badlands. Cute little pool and playground. Also not too bad of a drive from Custer State Park and Rapid City. Not sure if its a regular thing but we got a free breakfast voucher for a restaurant in town and a free drink voucher for each guest staying at the hotel! I wasn't expecting that and it was a very appreciated gesture.

The hot tub was lovely. The pool looked nice, though it was a cold night so we didn't get in it. Breakfast was great - with hot biscuits and gravy, eggs, and pancakes, plus a good selection of yogurt, pastries, toast, and drinks. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Oh yes, and the room shower was nicer than lots of hotels - big and bright and didn't feel sad.

Really well run! This place is owned and operated by a local family that obviously takes a great deal of pride in the care and operation of this property. It was exceedingly clean, the staff was friendly and attentive and the owner included a personal letter telling us about their history with the hotel. I truly did not expect to be so charmed by a chain hotel.

Hotel was nicely located just off the Interstate and withing walking distance to the Wall Drug emporium which is the main reason we stopped here (plus it being very close to the entrance to Badlands National Park). The staff was very friendly and quite helpful with resolving an issue with our television in the room.

This was a great stay- the hotel is conveniently located right off the highway but also right in town. The place was so comfortable and the staff were friendly. Great towels, bed, pillows, amenities. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Loved everything about the place and couldn’t believe the price.

The immediate vicinity of the location was mediocre, although there were some nice common areas. In a larger sense — proximity to Wall, and the Badlands — the location was very convenient. The room itself was excellent, as was the staff; I would certainly stay there again.

Great location to Wall. We walked everywhere. Friendly staff. Outdoors pool is cool. Complimentary breakfast tickets for the Badlands Salon and Grill. Had to wait for breakfast though. The servers where running like crazy and this place was busy. Must be understaffed.

The room was okay and clean as expected for a Days Inn nothing exceptional but clean and comfortable furniture. It was in walking distance from Wall Drug which was a plus for us as we like to be able to walk places after a long days drive.
