Wetmore was a cool little town with alot things to see.
Wetmore was a cool little town with alot things to see. If you like Nature I would recommend. The national parks and site are within 15 mins. They have great area for hiking and camping. Waterfalls and scenic views that you can't pass without taking pictures.

We went to see Munisig water fall.
We went to see Munisig water fall. The path was paved and easy to get to the viewing area. It was beautiful! We also enjoyed the lookout are where we could view the Pictured Rocks from the shore. The path to the viewing area had steos that were well maintained and made the the short climb easier.

I didn't realize Wetmore was so close to Munising.
I didn't realize Wetmore was so close to Munising. It's very conveniently located to the waterfalls, beaches, water activities that are part of Munising's tourism industry. Wetmore has the gas stations, grocery, hotels needed to keep your vacation fun going without the traffic hassle. Use it as a base and head out each day for your UP fun!

Cute town, beautiful setting and friendly people.
Cute town, beautiful setting and friendly people. We had pasties for dinner and they were excellent. But since we only came for a couple of days to kayak this time... we didn’t have time for anything else. But the surrounding areas are great, like the waterfalls and hikes. Next time we will stay longer and take advantage of the other cool activities.

stayed in the front building,, a little dated but everything worked no problems, saw the new addition on back more money im sure but our room suited our purpose, a little problem at checkin with credit card machine, once again breakfast was a good touch and I left full every morning for our days events...staff excellent, driveway needs work , along with entry doors to our building

Great location! Super ideal. Everything was within a 15-minute drive and Pictured Rocks was within 45 minutes. Super accessible. There were a decent amount of restaurants in the area. Everything I needed was within a 15-minute drive. The hotel room itself was very clean, and everything worked correctly. Breakfast was delicious and it seemed like they open early and closed the breakfast area later than most hotels. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff was very nice. Did not request a dog room when I made my reservation. I called immediately after receiving my email to have that changed. They said they would take care of it any give me a regular room. When arriving at the hotel they did not change my reservation from a dog room to regular room and said they tried but could take care of our request. After showing us the room, I requested that all bedding be changed and did do that for us.

A very clean, nice hotel. The beds were a little too firm for my tastes, but the kindness of the staff more than made up for it. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years and have never met nicer people. From check in to check out they were friendly, went above and beyond to help us, and never made us feel embarrassed asking for any request. Fully accommodating and wonderful.

They had free breakfast and a pool although the hot tub was out of order for our entire 4 day stay. The coffee was not bad compared to a lot of hotels I have stayed at. They had a bar area but do not serve food . The place was clean and friendly staff were always available.

We loved where the hotel was a couple of miles from Munising, it was right across from a mini golf course, which was so fun, breakfast was good, it is covid time so they got created with there breafast and it worked!!! The staff was very helpful and friendly!!

Great hotel. Room was clean and well furnished. Pool area was perfect for smaller kids...loved that it was shallow enough that my 6 yo kiddos could touch in every spot. Breakfast room was nice but cramped. Good selection of breakfast items.

Breakfast was OK. Serving same kind of breakfast x 2 days, not a lot of choices. Room was ok ,dated . Lots of lake flies/ mosquitoes on the door of the hotel room. Internet sucks.

The hotel is a 5 min drive from Munising. The morning sky view is great. The rooms and beds are comfortable. They don't have family rooms yet because they are still in upgrade mode.
