The staff here is amazing, so friendly and on top of things. The rooms are AMAZING and the bed felt comfy like mine at home! I didn’t want to leave and I will be back for sure! The check in was made so simple and staff had patients as I was trying to figure out what I did to my booking online! Thank you for the hospitality and comfy stay!

First of all when I booked it with you guys u charged me 84 dollars then I got my email itinerary to go get my room when I showed the manager the itinerary he said that he did not know what I had I'm pretty sure he could of looked on the computer but he didn't. Mind u its 3:30 in the morning and I was tired from driving .so then I paid 120 dollars more to get a room so now I'm down 200 dollars.now the room had not been cleaned cause there was stuff like dog toys laying around trash in the cans 1 towel and it was a small one it was cold I put the heater and it took long as he'll to warm up me and my girlfriend decide to sleep with our clothes on cause it didn't look safe to Finnish my experience off when we woke up I seen roaches dead and alive and the dead ones being eaten by ants that came in threw the bottom of the door that had a half inch gap so rodents could come in very easily .I will not use priceline anymore and will never go to that hotel as long as I'm alive .no disrespect but you need to send some surveyors out to you hotels that your trying to book or something .I mean whittier is a very nice city very very nice my family lives there but that hotel does not fit it maybe I'm being hard on them but I tell it like it is

Uptown Whittier has improved significantly with more dining options. Some places have live music. One of my favorite restaurants is California Grill on Philadelphia St. Huge menu, and (heated) patio seating with live music.
Greenleaf St is the main street for restaurants, bars and shopping and is a 5 min walk from Calif Grill.

Felt like Home! Cozy, and quiet. Shops, stores and food locations all conveniently close by, less than 5 minutes away from whatever you want or need. Everyone basically sticks to themselves, which is what I like!

Whittier Doubletree is perfectly located if you like to walk around Uptown, with historical buildings and some great, casual restaurants. We stayed on a Wednesday when the city puts on a street fair just a short 2 blocks from hotel, every week in summer. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the peaceful and fun environment.
Doubletree Hilton in Whittier has great FREE parking.

Able to easily reconnect with friends and church family in the area. Lots of food options nearby. Convenient location, but eastbound access off busy Whittier Blvd requires a U-turn to get back to the hotel entrance.

The Lambert Inn is a truly nasty place.
The Lambert Inn is a truly nasty place. Uncomfortable and a safety hazard. Funature broken. Electrical problems not much light so very dim. See my earlier review and the one I put on yelp. I wouldn't have a biker gang stay there nor a trucker. I've stayed in cleaner and more comfortable accommodations in the Philippines or in Vietnam and we were at war.
I paid for 4 days. I only stayed 1 night. I was told no refunds. All I am asking is the money I am owed for the3 days I didn't use the Lambert Inn.

I forgot to say that the Inn is in a very good location as...
I forgot to say that the Inn is in a very good location as far as many inexpensive restaurants go, as well as 2 shopping malls, a Trader Joe’s and a Ralphs market: all within a 10 to 20 minute walk. NORMS is open 24/7 and gives senior discounts….They have excellent breakfasts any time.
The view from La'Oasis is stunning. The rooms had a perfect size, and the living area is well equipped with a large flatscreen and high-end audio. In the kitchen we found everything we needed (and more). We also enjoyed the beautiful garden, the terrace and the patio. Nate is a perfect host who communicates effectively and replies literally immediately. All neighbors we met were friendly and helpful. We loved every moment of our trip to Whittiers!
The price and location were our biggest draw. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had a walk in shower, although we did not use it, I noted it for future stays. It is conveniently located near fast food restaurants, Chris n Pits, a grocery store and a 7-11. It is just a few blocks from the 605 fwy too. Staff was friendly, the younger girl even knocked on our door to let us know we left the drivers door open.
Whittier isn't home to a lot of great motels, but it's safe to say this one in particular definitely stands out.
The staff were very kind and accommodating. The vending machines work without any issues. The room smelt of fresh linens and the overall feel to the room was warm and inviting. The parking lot was vast and clean and most importantly -- NOT ONE BUG IN SIGHT.
I would definitely stay here again in the future.
This is probably a dated Days Inn building because the rooms are larger than what is standard in new hotels of this category. Very efficient staff service, relatively complete amenities, and the price is relatively outstanding. We did a road trip for 2 weeks and stayed in different accommodations every night so were able to compare prices. For the quality of stay, this one stands out in the price category.
I have stayed here before. I have always been pleased with this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the Best Whittier Inn is perfectly located. I can walk to a coffee shop, a well known dollar store and several restaurants. My family lives in Whittier and we dine with family whether it’s in their home or local restaurants. Bonus questions regarding additional services do not apply to us.
Hotel grounds didn’t feel very clean. The room itself was clean. The newly installed vinyl was peeling up in one section so whatever contractor did the job didn’t do a very great job. The WiFi was weak and the cable tv had issues. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I guess for the price you get what you pay for.
Great location close to our grandkids. Room smelled good and was clean. Bathroom was well stocked and also clean. Our room was on the 1st floor. They had USB plugs. Mini fridge is always a plus, it's should be standard in all rooms at all hotels now. No bed bugs!
I have stayed here before and I already love
the hotel, the staff and the location.
The cleaners are always working really hard and cleaned our room twice in our 6 night stay - the staff are attentive and kind. I seriously love staying at the Hilton in Whittier.
