We stayed in the Cocosea for a full week as we were in town for our wedding. We had a "VIP" Ocean View Room with Balcony on the top floor, and the view was breathtaking! Loved having that it available to use. The beds were a little bit too firm for my taste, but large enough and comfortable, as were the linens. All standard room facilities were provided. The staff were more than helpful with our many requests (including providing us with a standing fan for the room!) and assisting with our wedding day movements, which we thank them deeply for. The Housekeeping girls were fantastic. But for a small town like Van Gia, the Cocosea is a fantastic asset for the traveler, and exceeded my expectations overall.

Large villa with three bedrooms for a comfortable three night stay in a rural area. A five to ten minute walk to the beach area where there were some cafes and coffee places. While the location would not suit everyone, if you want to stay in an truly authentic small Vietnamese village, then this villa provides a good standard of accommodation. (Though be aware the beds have Vietnamese style mattresses which although reasonably comfortable are not as thick and song as many Westerners are used to. But we all still managed to sleep ok. Overall at the price you pay, the villa is great value. Just realise that you are not 'at home' in a Western country and hence be realistic at what you expect. It still has good amenities, including a great shower/ wet area and a washing machine, along with a lovely courtyard.

This not 5 star place about rooms but 10 star about kindness: to give job for poor local people, to do not bill us our requests about snorkeling masks and broken glasses, to gift us your great bags with the matter thing - Paradise is within us. And I’m very surprised that they clean tables in the restaurant with lemon juice and linen oil to keep nature clean for the next generations. Great that there are people like you in the world, this humain service and attitude are impossible to buy. Truly transformative experience through and through. Don't stop to be the best as you are.

fantastic Home stay for bicycle/motorcycle Touring lovely spotless clean ensuit room witn tv air-con fan, Fridge king bed that feels brand new & a Beautiful outside Garden terrace where i sat for hours. bussling fishing village 5min cycle along the road with traditional restaurant and cafes and fruit & veg stores and bakeries. very friendly locals that were so happy i visited there little village. staff go above and beyond for you and are very happy & welcoming. they also offer a food menue if you wish to stay in.

Quieter than most places I've stayed in Vietnam.

A very nice - quite big - hotel with great prices. The owner and his family are very helpful and with Google translate, we could talk and he gave lots of tips and helped out with things I needed, as well as recommendations for local restaurants. It’s very clean and quite modern (is a new building). It’s located just outside of Doc Let, in a quieter area, but you can rent a scooter for a few euro (100.000 / day) which will easily get you into Doc Let and Ninh Hoa, where there is a cute market and a busier town.

Perfect location: beautiful beach and amazing garden and pool.

We loved the warm and welcoming nature of Tu and his family. He immediately made us feel at home. We had some amazing food cooked by his wife, the place was cool and comfortable and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Tu also helped us out a lot with getting a local ride up to Quy Nhon which saved us time and money. We really recommend this place!

We stayed at the hotel for one week (7 nights) in total. The location directly at the white sandy beach absolutely is phenomenal. The room (sea view) we booked was fully equipped and modern (newly constructed). The hotel offers its own restaurant where one can order meals throughout the day (only breakfast was included with us). For lunch and dinner the same menu for both lunch and dinner is used, which lacks diversity and options that are “a bit more special” than just your standard sea-food dish or burger. More european-style dishes are not convincing/lack some “passion”. The spa and massages are highly recommended and offer extremely good value-for-money. The fitness room is modern and almost always empty (at least during our stay), which makes it a perfect alternative to another hour at the beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful, at least the part that is directly in front of the hotel is kept clean very well and also offers sun-beds and towels free-of-charge. Should one wish to go for a nice walk along the beach, one might due to the large amounts of trash laying around, consider taking up a job as a garbage-collector, which is very sad, but not under control of the hotel. In the direct vicinity of the hotel there is nothing to do, nor are there any recommendations from the hotel what might be worth visiting. Of course, if one solely comes for relaxing, this is not a big deal. All in all, the hotel is perfect for “beach-lovers” seeking peace and quietness without having too high expectations of services beyond a comfortable hotel room, since the accommodation itself (room, beds, equipment) is wonderful
