Cobblestone Court, hotel in Colesberg

Offering garden views, Cobblestone Court in Colesberg offers accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi.

The room was clean, and it had everything needed for an overnight stay. Your vehicle is behind a locked gate. I will use this place again and I can highly recommend it! If you have mobility issues, then watch out. The courtyard is cobble stone, and the steps are stone too which means they are uneven and at different heights. I did not see any wheelchair friendly option to get to the rooms, so be aware of this. Otherwise, great option for an overnight stay.

It was the perfect stop after a long day of travel. My dogs were so happy to be able to walk around the garden. The accommodation was comfortable and pleasant with microwave and wifi. I would definitely go back if I’m in the area

    Reception was not very friendly.

Reception was not very friendly. Would have liked more information in form of a pamphlet on the area and restuarant options. Chalet and surrounds not disabled friendly. Room was clean and neat. Spacious parking available.

Disappointingly Dilapidated, Uninformed Staff, and Mediocre Food My recent stay at Colesberg Lodge was an absolute letdown from start to finish. The rooms, frankly, resembled abandoned sheds rather than accommodations fit for guests. The disrepair was evident from the moment I stepped in, and the beds seemed to have hosted more guests than they could handle—clearly slept through and terribly uncomfortable. Adding insult to injury, the staff seemed clueless and unprofessional. The waitress was shockingly uniformed, not just in attire but also in basic knowledge and attentiveness. It was evident that there was a lack of training or care in ensuring guests felt welcomed or attended to. As for the dining experience, it was a sad attempt at providing sustenance. The apple pie I ordered was exorbitantly overpriced for what can only be described as a pitiful slice of disappointment. The food, in general, was far from meeting any modern culinary standards. It felt like a throwback to a bygone era where taste and presentation took a backseat. Overall, my stay at Colesberg Lodge was a regrettable mistake. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and seek accommodations elsewhere if you value comfort, service, and decent dining. This lodge needs a serious overhaul, not just in its physical infrastructure but also in its approach to hospitality.

Colesberg is great for an overnight stay when you are travelling. I couldn't imagine staying much longer than that as the town is very small and very quiet with not much to do besides eat and drink and very mediocre restaurants and pubs.
