Collette is a lovely host - warm, welcoming and very organised! The attention to detail in the cottage is amazing- everything you need is supplied, plus so many great extras. The garden is beautiful and the on-site spa facility is a really nice bonus - I enjoyed a relaxing facial on my birthday, such a treat! A picturesque town with many interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Good choice of restaurants, interesting art, mostly within easy walking distance.
Restaurants and shops closing early during the ArtWalk weekend was a disappointment. It seems pointless to offer activities that draw visitors, but then not offer them what they came for.

Greyton is a very pretty village.
Greyton is a very pretty village. A lot of good accommodation available. Quite a lot of restaurants, cafes / coffee shops. A supermarket, petrol station by and a pharmacy, so more than adequate from C a shopping aspect.
We were there for the annual classical music festival, not the first one we have attended in Greyton, and it was most enjoyable.
Great destination for walks / hikes, mountain biking etc.
Generally a great place to visit !!

Greyton has so much to offer.
Greyton has so much to offer. This time we chose a quiet and peaceful stay, popping into the various little shops and restaurants and 2 leisurely walks around the town were sufficient. I have done the Greyton/ McGregor hike a couple of times in the past which is not easy. AbbeyRose offers great meals and The Post House coffee shop super cappuchino. I can highly recommend Carla for a massage!
We attended a wedding in Greyton and stayed at this property for two nights. The location was perfect, nice and central. The restaurant where we had breakfast was great. The service and food was fantastic with a huge variety to choose from as well as generous portions. Our room was spacious with a comforable bed and lovey hot showe. Unfortunately our room was not serviced during our stay and no replenishments of coffee etc. were done but met the new owner and he took note of all comments in a very positive way. Wishing them all the best!
Central location in Greyton, walking distance form most restaurants and shops. Small little cottage next to main house, with one bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. Perfect stay for weekend for 1-2 people, to use as base to explore from. Large garden for guests to use and parking on site. Good quality king size bed, big cupboard for clothing and heaters or fan provided. Small nook in bedroom to make tea/coffee, with fridge and microwave provided. Hosts very friendly and available if needed.
Wow! The photos don't do it justice! This is world class accommodation with comfy beds and modern, sparkling clean bathrooms. The staff is amazing! The owner is really attentive and kind. It's the middle of winter and our heater ran out of gas. Andrew arranged to have a replacement bought for us at the local store...all within a space of 30 minutes! Breakfast was lovely, the garden was amazing too! I could go on an on! This is THE place to stay in Greyton! Thank you for a safe home away from home!
Excellent accomodations in Greyton! An exceptionally homey apartment close to the Saturday market and downtown attractions. Thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts of home. Solar power is appreciated to avoid load shedding. The yard/garden is tranquil and offers spectacular mountain views. Most important, Doug and Beulah were fantastic hosts, and took great care to ensure our wonderful stay.
Spent quality time with my family in a beautiful house and town. De Oude Pastorie feels like home away from home. It is situated in the main road with many little restaurants to explore and a market on each Saturday. I would definitely recommend staying at De Oude Pastorie while you are exploring the lovely Greyton area.
Charming small hotel with lovely gardens, the rooms, linens, pillows and bed very comfortable. It is an older property, funky pool, but had a fun style to it. Loved the small town of Greyton and all the Mt. Bike trails. The location could not be more convenient to the town, bike rental and Saturdays farmers market.
It was the perfect location, serene and peaceful, for a wonderful weekend. We stayed in a beautiful renovated, well equipped farmhouse, Wildevy
Hemelsbreed Farm is in the Overberg, surrounded by the Riviersonderend Mountain range, only 10km from Greyton.

Have stayed in Greyton often over the years and this was truly the loveliest little Greyton cottage. Great location within walking distance from the village. We stayed during a real cold snap but we were warm and comfortable. Fireplace is lovely. Garden beautiful and private.
A true Greyton gem
The hotel is lovely and very central. The staff were very friendly. The room was lovely. Beautiful garden. They recommended a very nice Restaurant and even made the reservation for us. Thank you for that especially because there was a race on that day that we weren’t aware of.
Exceptional guesthouse with everything one could wish for. Kitchen well equiped, dining table inside and out for leisurely meals and chatting. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. We highly recommend De Kale Kat for your next visit to Greyton with a group of friends or family
beautiful lodge with the most beautiful views and garden. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. They gave a complimentary bottel of wine with a card for my girlfriend’s birthday ! will definitely stay there every time we go to Greyton !
We went to Greyton to wander around the Rose & Garden Fair. When we arrived we were greeted by Chloe who was amazing and so friendly. She put out some beautiful bouquets of flowers for our arrival. The house was well equipped and very clean.
Great location in town, walking distance to everything in the village.
Rooms were not luxurious, but perfectly comfortable and quickly character. Each room with its own decor, and interesting furnishings.
Perfect for a Greyton breakaway!
The cottage was a lovely example of an old cottage beautifully renovated with respect. Extremely comfortable with a lovely back garden. It was well located, close to centre of Greyton but still quiet. Well equipped.
Lovely Greyton. Hendrik welcomed us warmly and the lodge had real ambiance and a very welcome feel. I loved the little wine and beer bar and the fireplaces. Breakfast was served by a very friendly lady. Delicious !
The staff kindly prepared breakfast to take away the next morning as we hiked the Greyton to McGregor trail. They also looked after our luggage whilst we hiked, and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
