The rooms and kitchen had everything we needed. One could feel it was not just a holiday rental, but a family home fully equipped for homecooked meals and cozying up at the fire or sundowners looking over the dam! Pics looked too good to be true but this is exactly what we got - thank you Seipati :)

A sleepy village off the main highway connecting JHB and DBN. Its picturesque and quaint. I never had enough time to explore the village, however, going for a jog in the morning showed me a few curiosities i will certainly stop at next time I visit.

It is a quaint little place, it's authentic, it's a little rustic but still clean, you meet with the locals, you have a bar and meals on-site.....we loved it. We don't look for fancy, we look for clean and safe accomodation.

Rosetta is a tiny town and Hilltop Farm is about 7-8 km out of town. Perched at the top of a hill, it has magnificent views. Denise is a fantastic host and looks to please her guests. The cottage has lovely luxuries like Woolies hand wash, and some gorgeous crockery. Kitchen is fitted out with everything you can imagine and even more than you need when on holiday. There is even a washing machine. Free WIFI which is so useful too. Highly recommended if you are wanting absolute tranquility and a host who has it ‘just right’.

It's a small farm/ rural town for those who wish for a quite and simple life. The area is mostly off grid but provides for additions of modern conviniences such as wifi, flushing systems etc. There are arts and craft shops and spectacular farm stalls along Nottingham road. This will Fulfill a heart that loves unique pieces. Just be careful of the roads at night.

    Everything was PERFECT!

Everything was PERFECT! Glen Ormond deserves a 5 Star rating! Superbly decorated, luxurious yet homely, spacious accommodation with all the bells and whistles. All the finer details have been have been attended to i.e. Sherry, crystal glasses & peanuts. Wood & firefighters for the fireplace and private braai on the spacious covered patio. Dressing gowns, toiletries & adapter plugs. Milk, water & condiments in the fridge. Nespresso coffee machine with capsules and an assortment of teas. Electric blanket etc. Scrumptious healthy breakfast. Set in beautifully manicured gardens overlooking the farmlands and mountains in the background. Centrally located to all the attractions the Midlands has to offer i.e. Restaurants, Piggly Wiggly, Howick Falls, Nelson Mandela Capture Site, Chocolate & Cheese Factories, Quirky roadside stalls etc. Glen Ormond is so very Serene and peaceful. The friendly cats and dogs are for me the cherry on the top of this ‘home from home’ establishment. Host/owner Jennifer went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one! Highly recommended!
