Could not recommend this place enough. The owner Glen and his wife are absolutely lovely. We only met them briefly when we got the keys, pure good vibes right away. The apartment is honestly perfect, it has absolutely everything you need and we couldn't believe the attention to detail and little extras that they provide like milk in the fridge for your morning coffee or tea (all provided). Several jars filled with SA crisps, candy, cookies - so sweet. Fridge also had eggs and a bunch of other things. We of course forgot our toothpaste - but also that was provided. Honestly, above and beyond and not something I've experienced before. The bed and pillows are perfect, best sleep we both had in a while! Location is super, with a great restaurant right on the corner for great wine in the evening and delicious coffee and breakfast in the morning. Do yourself a favor and stay here - you won't regret it!
Thank you again Glen!!

Breakfast buffet was poor. Cooked breakfast was good
Loved Kalk Bay. We were very pleased that we had decided to stay here rather nearer to Cape Town city centre. There were lots of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from, it is close to Boulders Beach and close to the Zandvlei parkrun, which we did on the Saturday morning. We felt very safe there.

Kalk Bay is beautiful seaside village where everyone just gets on and gets along. A lovely mix of bohemian market feel, seaside quality and amazing beaches on my favourite stretch of the greater Cape Town coast.

DIVINE!
DIVINE! Eclectic, quirky and just too much to explore with regards to the beautiful shops, galleries and restaurants in one day. A must visit place for overseas visitors to see as it is a more old side scene of Cape Town with so much more heritage than the modern Cape Town city centre and other more bustling suburbs, with its cobbled narrow streets and beautiful old buildings and homes. Let's not forget the beach or tidal pools and plenty of adventure sea opportunities literally right on your doorstep. I come form Cape Town and going to Kalk Bay always make me feels like I have gone on holiday to another city. By far one of my favourite spots in Cape Town.

Kalk Bay is a beautiful little seaside fishing village about a 45 minute drive from Cape Town. The seaside town is filled with great seafood restaurants, quirky pubs, antique shops and artisans selling their wares. The town can best be described as a village with a chilled, bohemian vibe. It's a perfect getaway to chill out and enjoy a weekend away.

Quirky and vibey little sea side village with many great places to eat, interesting shops for browsing and great beaches. The working harbour is interesting and a perfect place to buy fish straight off the boats.
Everything is close by so no need to drive around of struggle for parking.
Comfortable apartment in a great location of bustling Kalk Bay. Restaurants on your doorstep and views for days. A great piece of village life and central to all the local attractions. Very well appointed and thoughtful accommodation with a welcoming reception from owner, Louise. Good base for longer stays or a weekend away.
My husband and I loved the location and the cozy accommodations. Daphne and JB are great hosts. A bottle of wine was waiting for us after our long trip which made a perfect welcoming. And they shared with us the best restaurants for breakfast and dinner in Kalk Bay. A great few days in Kalk Bay. We highly recommend.
Jean was so incredibly welcoming and gave us so many great tips about Kalk Bay. The room as absolutely beautiful, so comfortable, and way bigger than I expected. The bed was super comfortable and the fan kept it nice and cool during the warm summer nights.
Fantastic location in beautiful Kalk Bay. Close to restaurants and shops. Garage on the property for parking a big plus. Excellent choice for self catering with plenty of space. Louise an excellent host.
The quiet, comfortable room in busy Kalk Bay, a few minutes walk from the harbour restaurants. A private little garden with a fountain. Private, gated parking.
I apprechiated the handhold shower, not very common.
Beautifully furnished and decorated house with excellent public rooms. General absence of staff gave the feeling of being in a private house rather than a hotel. Good pool area on the upper level.
perfectly located in the centre of Kalk Bay. Great accommodation and convenient to walk most places.Staff are all friendly and the apartment is safe and the area very neat and tidy.
Susanna, the host is super friendly and the view is great. Close to the rock pools and the little boutique hotel down by the road serves delicious breakfast.
