Everything was awesome, you are right inside Kruger and the different animals really come right up to the balcony. It was an amazing experience with family and enough space, seating and outside area to cater for 10 people ( 7 adults and 3 kids).
Everything is exactly as In the picture. Very beautiful rooms too.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was the essence of tranquility. Prolific bird life. I enjoyed the visit from the hippo's and hubby enjoyed the tiger fishing albeit he lost one to a croc. Do take mosquito spray with as they are very small but have a mean bite. The staff are all super friendly and always willing to help. The little restuarant was great with simple food prepared excellently.

A good place to stay and better than Crocodile Bridge if you want to be close to Kruger but have a choice of eating places and much better value places to stay than SanParks.
We recommend the Kommatipoort Golf Club for a drink or a meal on their wonderful balcony with beautiful views over the river. The Stoep Cafe on Rissik St also has good food with a lovely garden area.

This was the most fantastic stay ever!!!
This was the most fantastic stay ever!!! Everything was just great. From the property to the service, we received. We could have stayed another month. So tranquil and the garden with the waterfall are just what we needed after a very difficult year. The stay really revived us, and we went back home, refreshed and recharged.

Mind the truck weighing centre and don't turn off the N4 too soon! Also, signage into Komatipoort is poor for the distance you need to travel from the N4 into the main street of the town. Stop streets for cross roads are not great and street markings are poor.

The Crocodile gate is located close to the town Komatipoort.
The Crocodile gate is located close to the town Komatipoort. It is a very popular gate to the Kruger as it is giving the visitor access to Lowe Sabi and Skukuza with some of the best scenery to view predators and other game.

All facilities of a small border town. a quite place to stay as your main reason is to hop into the kruger park. the game viewing is superb from crocodile bridge entry gate. komatipoort is 10km away from gate. all branded take aways available. stay safe in town as its pretty busy border town in Africa. book safaris with sanparks best value for money.
The location is fantastic. Romantic and idealistic. The Komati river flows broad and alow past it.
This riverfront farm is ideal for tiger fishing in the warmer months. The owner arranges fishing trips and sunset cruises at a very reasonable price.
Hippo's hide in the reeds across the river and visits at night.
Hardwood for braais are provided free to use every night.
A well equiped kitchen caters to all your needs.
To a fisherman group, this place could be a real blessing.
This place was really value for money, we could just relax and take in all the beauty nature has to offer. Gavin went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed the drinks and stories told at the bar overlooking the Komati river and Kambaku gold course. Swimming pool was amazing. I will highly recommend this establishment to anybody. I will definately be back trying out the tiger fishing. Keep up the good job management and your team!
Boomhuisie is a place where every step is taken to ensure a comfortable stay for guests, with a perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. The apartment feels like home, with ample space, and the kitchen great for self catering.
Great location, tucked back into a neighborhood but just a couple minutes' drive to the main road running through town and going to Kruger. It's only about 10 minutes to Crocodile Bridge Gate. We would definitely stay again when in Komatipoort!
Stunning lodge on the banks of the river, overlooking the park. The rooms are even nicer than the pictures…. Great view, spacious and beautifully decorated. Dinners, shared with the other guests, were delicious. The breakfast packs provided for those wanting to make an early start were equally as good. The hosts were extremely welcoming and we learnt so much from them. Their knowledge on insects was especially fascinating . We look forward to returning in the near future.
The Allo B&B is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to. Michelle and Bernard are the most welcoming hosts. We had good laughs, lovely chats and they gave us lots of background information on the area and what to do and not to do. The breakfast was extremely tasty and made with love - better than in any 5 Star hotel.
As their slogan say „Come as guests, leave as friends“ we left as friends. We will be back!
The staff was friendly and accomodative and the rooms are clean and neat and worth the value of the house and the money and the place is quite and reminnice to be a good place to stay in the morning and take a look at the club and the place where you can find a good hotel in the area of downtown and nearby restaurants and then you can find a good hotel in the area of the city and the hotel
Nice welcome from the staff, particularly the reception. The cook prepared us a evening meal on short notice, despite we arrived late. Hotel surroundings are quite and very relaxing. Hippos grazing the lawn during the night provide an interesting show!
The resort is a very good base to explore the Kruger park.
I got a lovely room with views of the Crocodile River. I love their bring your own bottle policy. Komatipoort Town and Kruger are a short drive away. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped and the views are out of this world - you will always dine with hippos and elephants.
Simple and well equipped for an overnight stay. No microwave but just chat to the staff and they will let you use the kitchen. Safe parking space inside next to your chalet.
