Garden Route Safari Camp, hotel in Mossel Bay

Situated between the Outeniqua Mountains and Mossel Bay, Garden Route Safari Camp boutique-style accommodation in a malaria-free area.

Fabulous hosts welcomed us into their family for a few days. The room was lovely and enchanting and I couldn’t have wished for anything different. Their conservation and rewilding activities are excellent and to be supported, and for me set this above the competition. Game drives gave intimate glimpses into the private lives of giraffe, lion and white rhino.

It’s a very beautiful town, I must say. It’s very clean. The municipality seems working for its citizens. Thank goodness. No potholes and streets are freshly tarred. No disfunctional traffic lights. Side walk grass is cut.

Point very good spot , Diaz serve very nice food, Hartenbos surrounding are very homely. For visiting guess you will enjoy visiting all the places. The road works are the only downfall, time delay. Langeberg to Diaz and half way to the point.

Mossel Bay is a beautiful city, not overcrowded, it makes a perfect vacation to relax and recharge. The only challenge is public transport, Uber & Bolt are almost non-existent, it's mostly private taxis that you have to call and they are always busy, making the waiting time a bit longer. I would recommend you come with your own car or you hire one, you'll enjoy the place even more without transport inconveniences. Overall, it's a beautiful place with more than enough to offer visitors.

Charming with some lovely boutique shops.

Charming with some lovely boutique shops. At the far end a great hiking opportunity around st Blaize point followed by a refreshing dip in the sea gully. Unfortunately couldn’t do the zip line as it was too windy. Nor the shark diving for the same reason. Great padel court on the sea front. Great bagels at jacks on the Main Street Dinner at gannet was good. Amazing bbq in the harbour and very reasonable. Try the oyster shots next door. Don’t visit the aquarium!

Tranquility great walks on the beach clean beaches Visiting the ATKV near by in Hartenbos has great facilities for both adults and children. A visit to the Langeberg Mall is a must to shopping and dining. A visit to Diaz Beach with its long stretch of white sand and a visit to the Zipline which is the biggest over the ocean in the whole world at the Point is a must

Wow.. that’s big question don’t know from where to start here. Aqua house is more than just a guest house, the couple run it like a 5 stars hotel! I had to change my booking date on the very last minute and they did it for me.. quiet flexible. Everything you need is just there. Rooms are quiet big and beautifully decorated, Mitchel and Liz are very friendly. The breakfast is delicious and I have had one of the best conversations with Mrs.Liz. If i ever come back to SA I’m definitely passing by :)

The location on the beach is gorgeous; it takes only a few minutes to get to the road that connects Hartenbos and Mossel Bay. The location, however, is a solid drive to central Hartenbos, which was perfect for us, but may not be if you want to be in the thick of things. The staff members are friendly and efficient. We stayed in a Luxury room, which is on the small side and only has a regulation sized shower, not a bath; if you stay for longer rather upgrade to the next level.

Amazing view, beautifully renovated with wonderful taste, everything top quality - from towels to products in the rooms. I felt like I was staying in a lovely gspa/hotel. Owners are fabulous - so helpful & very interesting . They prepared an amazing breakfast too. By far one the nicest place I stayed in on this SA trip. This guest house is modern, clean, and very comfortable too. I had a private balcony from my room with the most amazing view of Mossel Bay.

This was the 2nd time here and thoroughly enjoyed the self catering apartment and especially the location. I went with my whole family and inlaws and staff accommodated to have all four apartments next to each other. On the 3rd day, I also enjoyed some pampering at the beauty salon at the hotel. Kids loved the waterpark which is in walking distance. Would definately come again December.

Andrea is very welcoming and provides recommendations on things to do in the area. The room is not self catering, you are however provided with essentials should you bring home food (takeaways) and want to warm it, the room has a coffee station, bar fridge and microwave with crockery and cutlery. Stunning place, will highly recommend, wish we stayed longer.

Excellent room, wonderful view. Most helpful staff, safe parking, lifts worked despite black hour. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at during my 50+ years of international travels. Unfortunately there was a large conference which had a little impact on out stay, bit it was handled professionellt by the staff.

The hotel was accommodating with dropping off and picking up me, my father, and my TT bike during the IRONMAN 70.3 over the weekend. The hotel also prepared a breakfast pack consisting of an apple, banana, peanut butter oats, a muffin, and other snacks to have on the morning of the race.
