We unfortunately did not have the breakfast. Minette was a charming host who made our stay in Paarl an exceptional experience as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. She advised us about what to do, which wine estate we may enjoy visiting and where to eat.
There were garden furniture under a tree or seating on the 'stoep' for us to enjoy the lovely evenings.

This boutique hotel was really lovely and in a great position to see Paarl and its surroundings. The small pool and lounging area was just perfect to wind down in, and there was also a garden area to relax in. The Middle Eastern rug in the bedroom was a lovely touch. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast very good. Staff were really friendly and helpful. All in all, a perfect hotel at a good price.
Cana Vineyard Guesthouse offers luxurious décor and spacious country-style accommodation. The estate is a working farm set in the Berg River valley offering views of the Drakenstein mountains.

Special The personal attention given to all the patrons was excellent. You feel like family during the stay. The management and staff made arrangements for breakfast because most mornings we had to leave very early for a sporting event. They arranged a late breakfast for us outside the normal hours.

As Paarl is my home town I’m probably a little biased.
As Paarl is my home town I’m probably a little biased. The town has much to offer. The historic Main Street, so put on your walking shoes. For those travellers who enjoy wine Paarl has a lot to offer. There are plenty of wine estates to visit including the KWV winery. A visit to Paarl Rock is a must with stunning views across the valley. Paarl is home to the Afrikaans language visit the Taal Monument. For those travellers who want a relaxing break, Paarl is for you. Paarl unlike other Wineland towns like Stellenbosch and Franshoek is a lot less quieter with fewer tourists. A gem not to be missed.

Paarl has a very interesting Main Street if you enjoy architecture: there are a couple of centuries of architectural styles here. The scenery and surrounding mountains are spectacular and of course … let’s not forget all those gorgeous wine estates, tastings and food pairings.

There is more than enough quality and good restaurants.
There is more than enough quality and good restaurants. Lots of things to do (e.g. el Paca farm). beautiful surrounds and fairly quiet. The only detractor are the beggars on the streets - I never felt threatened, but it gets a bit much after a while.

The Laborie location is perfect ..close access the highway .
The Laborie location is perfect ..close access the highway ..and not far from Franschoek and Stellenbosch. We really enjoy the Winelands and prefer it to the the hustle and bustle of Central Cape Town. Paarl itself is quaint and quiet ..although in fairness we did not venture out into the wineland area of Paarl ..as our trip was too s hort ..only 5 days ..next time it will be for two weeks ..
Delightful boutique room in a row of several similar rooms on a farm on the residential outskirts of Paarl. The room was large and well equipped. Debbie the manager met us on arrival and showed us around. Big bathroom, good shower. We drove to a nearby restaurant but could have walked if it wasn't raining. Breakfast in a nearby building was plentiful and tasty. The swimming pool behind the apartments looked inviting but we didn't get a chance to use it.
We were provided with everything to ensure an easy check-in. The apartment was very clean and stocked with everything you would need to enjoy a great stay. The place is decorated very stylishly. Nice big shower. The hostess stayed in contact with us during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed. The best part was the ice cold bottle of water in the fridge after a long day in a very hot Paarl. We will definitely return.
Quaint unpretentious cottage on a working wine farm run by the family owners. Amazingly comfortable beds. The cottage is well appointed for both short and longer term stays. Stunning views. Central to be Paarl winelands and a perfect place to base explorations of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine regions. Staff are exceptional. The family owners live and work on the estate and are welcoming to their guests.
I had a nice stay in a separate building called 'Die stal'. They have upgraded to a boutique hotel since I was there last time. The room was very comfortable & clean and the check-in was very smooth. The location is excellent close to many restaurants and bars. Parking is very safe and convenient next to the garden area at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was nice as well.
Friendly service - Minette made us feel very welcome. Beautiful, spotless room with lots of unexpected extras such as healthy rusks and milk in the fridge. Very sorry we didn't have time to enjoy a coffee on the stoep. Madeliefie will definitely be our preferred accommodation in Paarl.
Very nice large property with various guest houses - very spacious apartments with living room, bedroom, and bathroom - very good breakfast and dinner in excellent restaurant - two great pools - very helpful staff. Easy access to wine areas in Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.
A fabulous guesthouse just outside Paarl. Tatjana made the most amazing breakfasts and the wines are exceptional. Lots of friendly big dogs roaming around the place and they loved a fuss when you returned at night. Fabulous 15 metre swimming pool. Great restaurants nearby.
It’s the best hotel I’ve ever been in my life. Everything is great, especially hotel team which makes our stay very comfortable, Darrol, Hendrik and others ❤️
I think that it’s simply not fair to give this hotel ten points, as it deserves much more!!!
The location of the property was prime because my friends and I were going to a festival in Paarl that was 15 mins away from where we stayed. We just needed the place for one night and the apartment definitely filled the purpose that was needed.
Paarl was a nice place to base from. Suite was larger than expected. Very large bed, bedroom, and bathroom. Common area table to sit out and drink coffee in the am. Happily surprised about washing machine (just be sure to use the quick setting).
Ideal location within walking distance from good restaurants and shops. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and the room has air-conditioning for the hot Boland summers.
Beautiful view of the Paarl Mountain.
Wonderful new peaceful and private cottage with views over Paarl and mountains. Very clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. Sarine and her husband are lovely people. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Lovely setting but a bit remote for visiting Paarl town (20 mins) and Franschoek. The team were lovely though and very responsive, they were especially helpful in allowing us a late check out.
A beautiful, well designed and thoughtfully decorated cottage on a small farm just outside the town of Paarl. We loved everything about this little gem 🌟
