We LOVE Paternoster.
We LOVE Paternoster. It’s a beautiful little coastal village (probably more of a town now) with white houses. The beach is lovely with soft sand and great for long walks.
There are many fantastic restaurants and cafes to choose from and local seafood is excellent.
Plentiful accommodation at reasonable prices.
Definitely worth a trip and also please visit the wine lounge. Fantastic selection of South African wines run by a lovely couple Arno and Pieter. You can sip and watch the waves and world go by or catch a sunset.

It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach.
It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach. There are quite a few restaurants, a supermarket, and a few small shops, but that's it. The beach is excellent for walking, but a bit too cold for swimming. There are
some game reserves and a national Park within an hour's drive and they are worth visiting. Really, it is a place for relaxing

We really enjoyed the beach and especially the sunsets.
We really enjoyed the beach and especially the sunsets. The local Spar had everything you would need to purchase - fresh meat, vegetables and a lovely bakery. The Beer Brewery is a must visit and make sure you try their cheese platters, the best we had.
Location was amazing, on a quieter part of the beachfront strip. We had the upstairs room with the private verandah. Windows looked out to wonderful views and perfect for catching the sun when you don’t want to be on the sand. Breakfast was amazing. We love starting out the day with a proper meal in our bellies and they also leave delicious rusks with your afternoon tea when they do their daily cleaning. The staff as so lovely as was the host Ansu. Highly recommend if you are looking for something that isn’t a self catering option.
Everything was lovely.
Very friendly rental agent.
Very friendly cleaning staff.
There was coffee, tea, milk, sugar, salt & pepper grinders, Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar which was not expected. That was a lovely touch and very helpful for self catering.
Also great to see that there were beach towels. Wish I had known as I would have had some more space in my bag if I had left my bulky beach towel at home :)
I love history and old buildings. The hotel has both. Very spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. My stay was a very short stopover to meet up with old friends living in Paternoster. I did not make use of the included breakfasts as they were served on the late side for my cramped schedule. Safe parking.
The hotel is PERFECTLY situated for walking excursions.
Clean and neat. Everything needed for self catering was provided. Our upstairs unit had a bit of a sea view, which was nice. Bathrooms were clean and looked newly renovated with lovely motion sensor floor level lighting perfect for nighttime bathroom visits.
Comfortable walking distance to the Waterfront and even to the main beach and other restaurants.
Lovely, quiet property on the beach in Paternoster. A short walk down to the shoreline from our room, delicious breakfast which changed daily and greatly enjoyed the guest lounge with the afternoon goodies and honesty bar! NB they book dinner on your behalf (in our case, De Ser Kaat & The Noisy Oyster) which suited us perfectly.
Loved the turn up and turn down service in the rooms, attention to detail was great. Layout of the hotel was very special and stunning touches to make you feel right at home. Our laundry was returned super quick too! Location was untouched, couldn't have asked for a more central location!!!
accommodation is comfortable, clean, homely, lovingly decorated without being too twee, offers lots of extras and most importantly for me, has a beautiful outside space, a private balcony. Although not on the beach front, it is close enough to comfortably walk there. Nice neighbourhood.
We had a lovely stay at Mosselbank 3 and it was a bonus that it was pet friendly. Glenn assisted us with the key handover and showed us around. He also recommended some local spots that came in handy. It's a neat and lovely apartment that is safe and quiet at night.
Paternoster is always a wonderful, peaceful place for a breakaway. Beautiful. Paternoster Place is a decent establishment from which to enjoy the rest of what this quaint town has to offer.
Luxurious two-bedroom home with a stunning location, right on the beach of Paternoster. Wished we could have stayed longer and enjoy all that Paternoster and the house had to offer!
The proximity to the beach, the big spacious house was wonderful. There was plenty of space for us all and we had a very fun time exploring Paternoster and surrounding areas.
Beautiful beachfront guesthouse/hotel with the feel of staying at someone’s home but with all the amenities and privacy of a hotel. Attractive decor and friendly staff
