Great facilities and super friendly staff. Great pangolin and leopard sightings.
Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience.
Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience. This being said, it is not a zoo! Don't expect to see all the existing animals in the parc! Some are easy to spot and other not so much, this is real animal kingdom and it's difficult to say who is watching who! Sun sets are also amazing with beautiful colors. Vegetation is small but dense(bushes). According to our guide it is easier to spot the animal during winter / dry season. Bushes hve less leaves making easier spotting animals and the animals gather around the water spot. During summer it is the opposite. Bushes are more dense and r'there is water everywhere making animal spotting more difficult. So an advice: winter is great for animals but of course temperature are lower so be prepared for low temperature and bring some warm clothes.

Very good upmarket hotel with well equipped luxury rooms and facilities. Dinner and breakfast included in the rate and both were exquisite. Friendly and helpful staff to assist from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. I can highly recommend a planned holiday to this hotel which is situated only a few hundred metres away from the Kruger Gate leading to Skukuza. Great vacation.

If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, stop thinking and do it. The accommodations were absolutely incredible. The staff was so friendly & helpful. We took 1 game drive with them and it was a 200/10. Our guide, Elvis, did everything in his power to help us find the Big Five & I’ll never forget him & his knowledge. Get to Kruger Gate Hotel now!!

There was some delay in the pick up from the airport which we had requested. Apart from that the stay was well beyond expectations. The staff was ever smiling, polite and eager to please. The food quality and spread was very substantial even for vegetarians.
It was value for money

Skukuza in the Kruger park is amazing, as is the whole park really! We saw the big 5 in 3 days of self driving with kids (8&9) and stayed in Berg-en-dal rest camp for 2 nights and the Kruger Gate Hotel for 2 nights as well, to see a different part of the park. The restaurant at the hotel and Skakuza rest camp we’re both lovely. As a tourist though, in SA, you should always be vigilant when travelling especially with all your stuff.
Our host, Merriam, was the first element making our trip worthwhile and special. She walked the extra mile to make our trip exceptional and was very accommodating to our specific needs. The tent is well equipped & very clean. Also close to the communal bathrooms and the swimming pool. Walking distance to the train restaurant and the park's shop. Braai/barbeque facilities available. The transportation from Skukuza airport was also just perfect - game drive vehicle similar to the more expensive lodge transportation.
The hotel was very beautiful and amidst the forest. The staffs were very helpful esp Raydene. She arranged our safari game drives. The spa is very good. Best part was the viewing deck near the pool. We could see the park and spot few animals, the restaurant there served delicious food n drinks. The room was good with a sitiout place outside. Good thing was the plug point had multiple options for various international travellers. There was entertainment during the dinner buffet which was nice.
This is a excellent establishment conveniently situated close to the Kruger National Park. We loved the simplicity and great value for money. The beds were very comfortable after running the Skukuza Marathon and a long day checking out the animals in the wild. We will most definitely stay at Sleepover in the future and get our family members to do the same. The kitchen staff was great and the food was beyond what was was expected. Keep it up
The hotel room was amazing,
very clean,
very comfortable !
the food is very good we are vegetarian there is a lot of choice! the location is amazing the buildings and the little park we were very very well done
wooden pontoons crosses from the hotel,
There are wild animals that live elsewhere in the park monkey, baboon, turtle
We went on a game drive and we saw more animals than we thought we'd see
Good vibes !✅️✅️✅️👌👌👌
This wonderful accommodation place is located in one of the campsite area in Lower Sabie rest camp. Shared ablution and kitchen facilities is available on the site. Portable air-con is provided in the tent which would keep you warm or cool in winter/summer. Special mention to Joy Ubisi for her excellent hospitality. This place is highly recommended to all looking for a reasonably priced tent accommodation inside Kruger Park.
Luxurious, beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive staff in all functions. The restaurant food was exceptional! Wonderful view of the river and impeccable design, incorporating the works of South African designers. Spa treatments available in-room, small curio shop on site and walking distance to the Kruger Shalati station. Experienced safari guides too.
This hotel was nothing short of marvelous. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, the rooms were superb and our meals were always delicious. The real highlight was the breathtaking view from the lookout pool. During our stay, we saw hippos, hyenas, and 3 leopards in the distance.
The lodge is new, spacious, very clean and has a beautiful outdoor shower. The location is perfect , just outside the gate and it’s very convenient that you can use the hotel facilities (swimming pools and restaurants). Very clear instructions on how to get there received from the owner.
Lovely spacious villa, well kitted out unit in the heart of the bush, staff that greeted us on arrival were lovely and the unit met all our needs and expectations for our trip, it is also close to the park gate and use of the facilities at the nearby hotel is nice as well.
Wonderful stay!
Beautiful beautiful hotel complex with great facilities and pool, fully equipped gym, food was always super tasty. Highlights for us:
1. Location couldn't be any better 2 minutes drive to Paul Kruger gate
2. The staff was so friendly and warmhearted
i loved everything about this property! the location, the hospitality, the food and drink and the game drives! it was all amazing! the other bonus is the close proximity to Skukuza airport! you can game drive between the airport and the hotel!
A true hidden gem. Luxury tent rooms with all the little touches. Game drives included and our guide, Sorta, was fantastic. All the staff were amazing. Meals were divine. Everything so well thought out, clean, and beautiful location.
Priviledged situation in the midst of nature within the gated community of a large hotel.
The lodge has a really beautiful design and is very well equipped.
Clint is a superb host, always available and caring.
Terrific ! skukuza is a great great place. We saw a lot of big mammals around. Tent are very confortable. Restaurants and facilities around are very good. Prices are really affordable and reasonable.
The setting is beautiful
the larger guest bedrooms are nee and much nicer that the normal rooms at this hotel. stunning actually. if you going to stay here opting for this room category a must.
Beautiful and relaxing in the bush but very near by a hotel were u can get all the facilities if you don’t want to cook, the place is amazing , design is to the small details
Not much.
This is not a camp on its own like the idea they are selling. This is random spots within the Skukuza rest camp between other campers and random tents.
