Great city with amazing Art stores, very good restaurants and Cafes, great trails to mtb or hike. We were there for the mtb Cape Epic race and the quality of the trials were superb. Have 1 of the best dinners of our trip and full of wineries too and petit hotels with friendly staff..

If you enjoy wine this is a must destination! 250+ vineyards most with tasting opportunity and many with great dining! Close to Cape Town and wonderful surrounding country. To enjoy at its best a stay of 4+ nights is best.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves. The staff are wonderful.

If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. If you want stunning views and great wine, coffee and food visit Ernie Els Winery.

Such a lovely atmosphere. Loved the traditional decor in bedrooms and public spaces which gave an authentic Cape feel. The restaurant is very highly regarded, the food is delicious and they always seem to have a space for hotel residents, even if fully booked. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable.
