Location was perfect for my reason of travel, but not for holiday by the sea as you can't see or hear the sea.

Quaint little seaside town but growing every time we visit. New shopping area on right as you enter town.
Main beach restaurant was permantly closed. Sad to see.
Agulas fisheries had a superb restaurant for great food.
Was wonderful to see so many manta rays at the harbour when the fishing boats came in.

Wonderful destination. Close to Agulhas, Arniston.
Wonderful destination. Close to Agulhas, Arniston. A gem in its own right. The stingrays at the harbour were fantastic to watch. The bay offers great paddle boarding opportunities. Take your own paddle board. A very long beach for strolling.

I loved how safe the sea was - in the harbour there are no strong currents - it is like swimming in a huge pool - very family friendly and we saw Parrie everytime we were there - the restaurants there are also good with good atmosphere - but the Fish & chips stall by Harbour entry - best fish I ever had. (though all the fish is pretty good)..

I have been visiting Struisbaai for past 30 years every year, enough answer as to why. Love the space, vast walking beach. The gusting winds is part of experience and 'beauty' of Struisbaai. Nothing much changes, still same old Struisbaai with only some developments coming up.

Clean, well organised, multi-cultural and not too busy.
Clean, well organised, multi-cultural and not too busy. Safety officers on duty, municipal facilities and ablutions were amazing. Can't remember when last I've seen a clean, complete, functional and stocked ablution facility on a public beach. Well done Cape Agulhas District Municipality!
Gentle swell at the beach with life guards on duty. Perfect temperature. We ate at Catch Cook in the harbour. Even though it was extremely busy at the height of the season the staff seemed to have it under control and the manager was patrolling. The food took a while, but the drinks kept coming and we did not mind - the wait was worth it!
Our experience at Searenity Struisbaai was unmatched.
Our hosts, Rassie and Monique, assisted with everything and made regular check ins to see if we were satisfied. On short notice, Rassie went out of his way to assist with additional accommodation.
If you want a carefree and relaxed stay, with great hosts, Searenity Struisbaai is the place to be. Their house is in a great location, super clean and equipped with everything you need for a great stay.
We came as guests and left as friends.
We've had the pleasure of traveling to a ton of places all around the world, but this stay with Iona and Dave topped them all. Seriously, the level of attention to detail was beyond amazing.
The extra effort and hospitality were on a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! The breakfast was better than we've had in any hotel and a simple WhatsApp was all it took to ask Iona for some guidance on where to go.
We'll be back very soon and are looking at making this an annual trip thanks to this experience.
Super nice and clean apartment in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It is well equipped and has everything you need. The balcony is nice as well with partial views of the sea. The picturesque Struisbaai beach is only a short walk away, the famous Cape Agulhas is a few minutes drive, so perfect to explore the area. Friendly and attentive owner. Can definitely recommend!
The room was beautifully decorated and on the second floor of the home. The proprietors, Gert and Carol, were friendly and welcoming. They gave us good advice on things to do nearby and restaurant recommendations. They answered our many questions about South Africa in general. It was an easy drive to the southernmost tip of Africa.
We enjoyed the warm welcome and the willingness to ensure we had a great time not only at the venue but also in Struisbaai. Enjoyed the fast that Cape Agulhas was so close by and the host shared with us places to visit
Loved the breakfast and the setting
Overall a really lovely stay for our get away!!! Well done
This is Bed Only accommodation, but they have self catering facilities in the room. The layout, furnishing and appliances are modern and easy to use. The bedroom, bathroom and lounge are fresh and light. Nice views and a large balcony. It is a perfect base from which to explore the region.
Perfect location. The house was way bigger than expected. A 5 minute walk to the beach.
The host made sure that our stay was comfortable.
Will definitely be my first option to stay in Struisbaai.
Annemarie definitely trying to make her guests as comfortable as possible.
Thanks Annemarie.
The accommodation is very comfortable and was spotless. Attention to detail. There is everything you need for home from home self catering. Kobus and Netta are so welcoming and available. Lovely position. A treat to have full DSTV and effective WiFi. Highly recommended.
Welcoming owners live downstairs so available to advise if necessary, superb views from the braai balcony and windows, very well equipped for self catering, comfortable beds, many treats for guests, garage parking, close to Struisbaai beach and Cape Aghulhas.
Staff that treats you like family♡... really made me fall inlove with struisbaai clean modern room was really something special... walking distance from the ocean... delicious breakfast 10 out 10 will be seeing us again soon
Breakfast was not included as we wanted to make our own.
The host was super friendly and everything we needed was catered for and more.
Nice view from the balcony.
This will be my home from home when visiting Struisbaai.
The hotelroom was equipped with all the necessary items. Biggest plus: a big flatscreen tv mounted on the wall. Nice kitchen for self-cathering. Over all a good accomodation near Cape Agulhas.
A quirky hostel in the far south of South Africa. Very colourful and clean and comfortable with amazingly welcoming staff and owner. We felt very at home even though we just stayed one night.
A home away from home. We are really impressed with traditional South African home. The thatched roof of the house provides with a unique ambiance of South Africa. Thank you very much!
