I was uneasy when booking due to mixed reviews, despite the apparently strong rating. After having spent two nights there, I was pleased overall with the stay. I do understand some of the concerns, in that our room was late and this was badly handled, some windows did not close properly due to corrosion, the lunch buffet was poor, and the hotel looks in parts like it could use a renovation. Despite this, the staff were helpful, the room was as advertised, the breakfast was excellent and the location is very fine. I would stay there again.
