Ideal stay for a couple. We had a wedding in the nearby area and this was the perfect location and facilities to accomodate us for 2 nights. Perfect distance from the wedding venue and pre-gathering. Thank you to the Strydoms for a very comfortable and accomodating stay. Would recommend 10/10 if you are looking for something similar.

Everything was perfect , the view, the house , the jacuzzi , all the additional extras like olives and wine , couldn’t fault this cottage. Nicest place I have stayed at.

Our chalet in Wolseley was situated in a beautiful mountainous & fynbos surrounded relaxing area, perfect for some downtime & bird watching while chilling in the pool. It would even work amazingly as a more remote work from home destination. Make sure you check the weather forecast ahead of your stay as well to ensure you pack for all 4 seasons if necessary, check your route on waze for any construction or traffic jams, and ensure your rented car can handle the dirt roads, uphill and is a high clearance vehicle if there have been heavier rains recently.

Lovely country restaurants, farm stalls and wine farms.
Lovely country restaurants, farm stalls and wine farms. Close to Ceres for the zip-lining and Matroosberg for hiking. Added bonus was cherry picking at Klondyke and a dip in the rock pools by Tweede Tol picnic spot.

It can get uncomfortable in the warmer months so, best to find accommodation with air conditioning which Koraalboom has. Beautiful town with some options for dining but a short drive to Tulbagh and you have plenty to choose from there.

There is not too much to Wolseley.
There is not too much to Wolseley. There is a tiny town, but very quaint and friendly. There are lots of restaurants/bars/eateries near the farm and a lovely curio shop run by the owners of the farm. There are also quite a lot of wine farms in the region, which were friendly to our dog as well. We could have stayed weeks. A perfect place to de-stress.
