Hotels near Ystervarkfontein

We recently had a family wedding to attend and this hotel could accommodate all 13 of us traveling together. Compared to the others places that we were considering this was the most reasonably priced. The hotel is old but well maintained and clean. The team assisted with all our requests including early arrival late return after the wedding, late check out, rooms to accommodate the elderly, the young adults and everyone with their own needs. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. We only stayed one night, I will return if I need to be in Cullinan again. Ps..the team really did their best to assist us, which is what one appreciate most if you need accommodation for something specific. We hank you 😊

The place looks 10 times better than what pics show. It exceeded my expectation. The small touches. The attention and the awesome service. Definitely a must do again. The safety. The restuarants.

The hostess was friendly and welcoming. The place was clean, lovely and had a homely feeling about it. We are definitely coming back, as it felt like a home away from home.

Exceptional! The property exceeded our expectations

I loved the atmosphere, it was peaceful and quiet and the lodge made sure to keep it that way by enforcing the rules about no loud music or you will be fined. I loved the rooms. I went there with my family of 6 and the rooms were incredible and they were very clean. I am a tea lover so every time the cleaning ladies would come and clean in our room they would refill the tea and sugar packets every time. Loved that. I am a morning person so I booked the guided walk and it was in the early morning around 6, and the view and clean fresh air we breathed in the morning was absolutely amazing. We saw some animals on our walk and were educated about the animals. We even saw lions and had an amazing encounter with them. Loved that. The quad bikes were amazing and I loved the patience the staff had with us because it was my first time on a quad bike so they explained everything very well and clearly, to me and my sister. So yeah I just loved it. As we were on our bikes the guy (who was leading us) would stop and take pictures of us near the animals and he would spin the bike in a circle and it was just incredible. I love everything about it. The game drive was educational and the sunset was like adding to the amazing experience of the game drive. They stopped the car in this big open space where we could take pictures of the sunset. Remember I said it was educational, well I learned that a giraffe has 7 neck bones but they are very large bones. Loved that. And lastly the staff, the chief, the receptionist, the everybody were very kind and informative and friendly. I loved the people there because I was celebrating my 21st and it was my first time booking anything so as I was booking I was given the platform to communicate with them before my arrival and I could ask anything and they would answer all my questions. These are great people with amazing personalities and the food is to die for. Compliments to the chief. Loved it. Thank you.
