Spectacular view over the Zambezi river with the mist of the falls in the distance. Within a short, safe walk to the falls. Super helpful and friendly staff who are obviously very well trained. Loved the Zebras, Impalas and Giraffe calmly walking around the property. Bed was super comfortable and the room spotless with a stunning view.

Location great on banks of the Zambezi. A few kms from the Falls. Understand from people we met that the closer hotels to Falls gets constant helicopter noise, so glad we picked this one. Power cuts in zambia but hotel has genny so that cut in a few times. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good base to see everything in the area.

The Royal Sichango Village, hotel in Livingstone

Situated in Livingstone, 8.5 km from Victoria Falls, The Royal Sichango Village features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

The staff Enevia and Ronald were quite helpful and I also enjoyed the English breakfast. Darius the Lodge manager who also serves as a tour guide was also very good and exceptional in organizing the tours and making sure we got there on time or arranged pick up for the ones that needed us to be picked up. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the hospitality at the lodge.

Ngoma Zanga Lodge, hotel in Livingstone

Offering a garden, Ngoma Zanga Lodge is situated in Livingstone, 300 metres from Railway Museum (Livingstone). SDA Church is 600 metres away. Free private parking is available on site.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Ngoma Zanga Lodge, Caroline and Kennedy are both so friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay and were always willing to help in any way they could to make our holiday perfect. The property is really well maintained and kept clean, the decor in the rooms, reception area and dining room/bar is lovely and authentic and the pool area is beautiful. Load-shedding is a new issue in Zambia however the staff had managed to adapt and minimise the issues that it caused and a generator was installed by the owner a few days before we left. We wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend Ngoma Zanga Lodge!

Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around.

Friendly and safe town. Easy to get around. Avoid being ripped off by taxi drivers. The falls are a sight to behold, it was majestic. Zambesi cruise is a to do activity, have dinner in one of the restaurants afterwards. Instead of buying at the town market, take a trip to Mukuni village for affordable souvenirs to take home.

Lovely quaint little town, friendly people and clean. Mosquitoes weren't too much of an issue. We walked the whole length of the town in one day, enjoying the sights and sounds. Very USD focused though, so plan accordingly.

There is tons to do around the area - Falls, safaris, nature, activities, boat cruises etc. Definitely one in the lifetime experience to visit this area. Fine small airport to fly in and out. It gets a bit hot during some of the months.

We booked a tour to Livingstone Island and Devil's Pool through LIFE ON THE EDGE. It was an awesome experience. Highlight of our trip. We paid $120 USD per person. Other tours charge more on viator and get your guide, but this is the only company that runs these tours so do not overpay by going through a middle man. Book directly. We felt safe the entire time. Well worth the money!

Getting around Livingstone was convenient as one can walk around the town or easily catch a taxi at an affordable price. There are many different cuisine options, be sure to try the local foods which were quite tasty. The Zambezi river cruise was my personal favorite activity.

Know the best time to visit the Falls as they are not the same year round. I went in October and the Zimbabwe side of Mosi-oa-Tunya was abundant whereas the Zambian side was dry. The best time to go to Livingstone for the falls is in March or April. Activities are on the pricier side and may not appeal to regional travellers. You can take a taxi to Chobe, it's 45 minutes away from Livingstone, so you can combine a safari with a Livingstone stay.

The property is beautiful and spacious with great facilities. We went for a weekend for my 43rd birthday and we had a fabulous time. The staff were very attentive, the evening entertainment (a local singer) was exceptional and a lot of fun. It is so close to the Falls we took a few trips over the weekend. Finally the wild animals roaming around (giraffe, zebras, impala and the baboons at the Falls) were mind blowing. Also the small shop on the hotel property was reasonably priced with a very attentive woman running it.

What a great stay. We unfortunately only had two nights here, but were immediately impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the Muke Village residents. Alex was an incredibly friendly, kind and ambitious host who gave us an insight into Zambian life. There is a school next to the guest house and we were even allowed to attend lessons and spend time with the children. We will definitely return - probably even as volunteers - as we felt very comfortable and gained an authentic insight into Zambian culture.

What a special place to stay in Zambia!! The pool was so nice, the rooms and A/C were perfect, and the Wifi worked well (especially from the breakfast/sitting area). We loved having the delicious and freshly made breakfast each morning. What made it all even more amazing is how sweet they were to make sure everything was 100% gluten free for me as I have Celiac. The care and effort was so wonderful! We 100% recommend this wonderful guesthouse!

My pick-up at the airport was organized by the hostel at a fair price. The location is in the center of Livingstone, opposite a shopping center. Check-in was fast and smooth. I stayed in a single room which was very nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary pancakes in the afternoon are a nice touch. All sorts of activities can be booked through the venue.

The hotel is brand new, very nice (even more than the photos), the staff is profesional, fast to respond and always happy to help. Special Thanks to Naomi who made lots of efforts to help me in the check in process while I had a problem with the payment. The food at the hotel is very good, and the prices are good as well. Everything was great and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel.

Room was very comfortable. The hotel itself is not a new glass and steel structure - it had a lot of charm. Right in the middle of town - many nearby eating, drinking and shopping opportunities. The staff was polite and professional. The price was UNBELIEVEABLE. Truly, I thought the front desk was forgetting something. Five nights, room, board and drinks for $500.

We were warmly greeted by the host, Francois and his capable staff. The Lodge is in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Livingstone convenient to the airport and are able to organize, or arrange for sightseeing events, adventure sports and game viewing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast varied and tasty.
