The house was very roomy and comfortable, but the best aspect was the outside space. The pool was lovely, and there was a nice selection of sun loungers and also tables and chairs to relax or to eat outdoors. We made good use of the bbq and the outside kitchen. The view was so lovely that we ate in the garden most evenings and watched the lights come on around the bay and the moon rise. We took the path down to the promenade every day just to walk or get the tram into the centre of Nice. It is a bit of a slog to walk back up the hill though, especially when it’s hot, but good exercise. There is a lot to see in Nice, we especially enjoyed the Colline du Chateau and had a memorable day trip on the train to Monaco to walk round the Grand Prix circuit. Ingrid and Stephane were very good hosts, great communication from when we booked and very helpful. To summarise we had a lovely holiday and have no hesitation in recommending Ingrid and Stephane’s house.

We loved how everything was carefully prepared for comfort of guests by the owners. They are very kind and speak excellent English. The unit got all we needed for our stay. We were absolutely grateful for AC in the bedroom! (air-conditioning is so rare in Europe). The linens were luxurious. Views from the property are stunning.
