Stunning, idyllic location; beautiful accommodation in a peaceful setting. We absolutely loved our stay at Kalma Lodge. It was clear that so much thought and expertise has been poured into the structure, design and furnishings of the villas. Breakfast was delicious and the food delivery service for dinner was very prompt. The staff were incredibly helpful and it was brilliant to chat to Andrias about his vision for Kalma and how it came to fruition. The views were wonderful, pool was refreshing and we loved watching sunset from the hammock. We hope to return and would recommend this to anyone wanting a unique and picturesque retreat.

The villas are really nice, nice design modern and clean. The pool area and open kitchen were great and the bedrooms very comfortable including the open air showers. 15 min walk to kuta town, there also some nice restaurants close by

We stayed 10 days at Batatu, the room was perfect with a king size comfortable bed, the bathroom is beautifully designed. At your arrive the staff add you in a private whatapp group where they share all the info and ask every morning what kind of housekeeping you need for the day. On the last day we also tried food and was the best local food we had in Lombok. The villa is located in a local village 10 minutes scooter drive from Kuta and 10/20 minutes drive from all the principal beaches and surf spots. Last but not least, there is a huge pool for guests I’d you don’t book a villa with a private pool.

Could not recommend this place enough. The villa itself was 10/10. Beautiful well maintained and clean area. Little extra perks is that they put a 19L dispenser of bottled water in your kitchen, they bring an afternoon snack every day (coconut or watermelon etc). Location is perfect. Short walk to the main strip. You can book hotels and scooters through Kabila Villas. The staff were also 10/10. Constantly making sure we were happy with everything. So helpful with transfers etc. We rented a scooter through them for 3 days and on the second day they noticed our rear tyre was a little flat. They told us and organized for it to be pumped up; I think this just shows their attentiveness. We were in Bali for 2 weeks and this was our favourite by far. You won’t regret staying here!

If we could, we would score more than 10 for our stay at The Local. The location is excellent, with a surf break just down the road and Kuta a quick 10min scooter ride away. A great value, perfect place to base yourself to explore Lombok. The villas are spacious, comfortable and clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the food is exceptional!!!!! Nothing is too much trouble, we felt right at home. We will miss everyone at The Local and will definitely return. Terima Kasih keluarga 🙂

The entry there was free and we were guided by a friendly staff. Everybody speaks fluent English. The bungalow was very lovely, spacious and clean. We had a romantic dinner set up by the pool, which was delicious and the service was great. One night we found gecko poo on the bed which was immediately changed.

The hotel is situated right in front of the beach. The staff is very helpful and attentive. This is a great place and it fits in with the beatiful surroundings and it seems to be a lot more sustainable and climate friendly than the huge resorts popping up further down the coast.

There are a few individual cottages, each with its own colour scheme and design, surrounding a pool in the middle. The room I stayed in was spacious, had a very comfortable king size bed, air-con, and a nice outdoor bathroom. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful for booking transfers. The street is nice and quiet but a short walk from all the restaurants and shops in Kuta. Overall incredible value for what you pay!
