There is a local store five minutes walk away and a ferry terminal two minutes away. A great base for a week exploring towns on the lake. If you like walking the Lake Como greenway start is easily reached via a C10 bus and there are other routes through charming small villages on the West of the lake. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Royal Cadenabbia. We can also highly recommend the restaurant Belle Ile on the ground floor.

Nice bars around and a lot the tourist hotspots (where I definitly wouldn't want to have my hotel!) are in shipping distance.
