This hostel is really nice place surrounded by calm nature. When I arrived earlier than check-in time, they allowed me to leave my baggage and to swim at the quiet nice pool. After that they gave me a towel and I took a shower. The hosts are very kind and always helpful like your family. They lent me a bicycle(3-6$), cooked pakistanisch dish(3$ and highly recommend) and sewed me my pants which was torn accidentally. When a package tour man came while I was oversleeping, he woke me up at a door and that was super helpful haha. They also offered me a private tuku-tuku tour(20$). There was no guide but I bought a book about Angkor heritage there(5$) and spent my time as I liked. The room was clean as well and nowadays renovated. There’s a AC and a light on every bed. I have to say thank you for every kindness.

The young couple who own Phum Khmer Lodge are keen to showcase Cambodian tradition and culture. We even got to make and taste Nom Ka Chai, Cambodian 🥞.
