Shivapuri is a very special unique place, catering to all types of travellers. This is the second time that I am staying at Shivapuri and it feels like home. The owners and staff are beyond accommodating and helpful and kind. Every time I have stayed here I choose the tent option because they are the most cosy, luxury and spacious tents I have ever stayed in and the views of the surrounding hills and Kathmandhu are incredible ! I chose this place because it offers a place to rest away from the intensity of the city but not so far away that you can't get into town easily. It really is set in the most perfect location, you can choose if you want to spend the day in nature or visit the temples in Kathmandu centre. The food is exceptional, all home grown and home made and catered to your every need. I cannot recommend this place more, I will definitely come back here when I return to Nepal, it is perfect for travelling alone or with your loved ones. Thank you Shivapuri for making my stay so happy and welcoming and I look forward to visiting again soon !

The house is nice, kitchen is big. It’s a good distance from the city Center for a weekend getaway. The view from the rooftop is quite nice and we were able to sleep 11 people very comfortably. The rating would have been much higher if not for the ridiculously intrusive on site staff. If management corrects this it will be a big improvement.
