Excellent location. Clean, well equipped. Lots of books on the shelf and toys for kids, and particularly odds and ends in the kitchen like salt, pepper and cooking oil. Very pleasing overall. Comfortable beds. Decor is quirky and reflects I guess the former occupant’s fishing hobby. Views outside were fantastic.

We had a small cabin that was comfortable and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is a short walk from town so very handy. Kitchen facilities were basic but everything that we needed was there. Verdict: basic but good value. I would stay here again.

I stayed at 1 of the cabins. The room was comfy, had a heater and electric blanket for a cold night. Close to the toilets, and showers. The kitchen was well equiped and everything was tidy and clean. Labels for naming your food was provided. The lounge área was small but very useful and cozy. The was a bonfire for evenings on the yard. Nice touch!

Henry, the Manager, was amazing, he upgraded one of our cabins to The Gingerbread cottage, it was so quaint n quirky. Super clean too, plenty of hot water in the showers, considering the campsite was full too.

A querky little place down by the lake. At first glance it was straight out of the 1960s but it had everything you need to be comfortable. We had a cosy cabin with reverse cycle aircon, good cooking facilities, all furniture requirements and a good shower. Best of all it is quiet and we had a good nights sleep.
