Loved our stay at this holiday home as a stop along the Ring Road - it was large for 2 people, really well equipped, clean and very comfortable with a good shower. We could have easily stayed more than a night! It was great to have a good amount of space, and somewhere to cook dinner and breakfast after a few expensive meals out in Iceland! And it was easily accessed, a short detour off the Ring Road. Very easy to visit Seydisfjordur from here as well. Highly recommend.

The kitchen is well stocked and has a great little stove with oven, the space is compact but well designed and the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake. We watched whales and seals in the fjord as we soaked in the hot water. The drive into the fjord is not for the faint of heart, but when you get there you are rewarded with one of the most beautiful views in the country.

Spread over 2 buildings, Skorrahestar offers basic guest room accommodation with shared or private bathroom facilities. All have access to a communal kitchen, dining area and lounge area. Owner and his wife are super friendly. No shoes allowed in the house which is good. Owner let us cook our own dinner too! Highly recommend for family

Skalanes Nature Heritage Centre is 19 km from Langahlid Cottages, while Egilsstadir town centre is 29 km away. The views were incredible, and the communication with the host before hand was great! They let us know key codes for doors several days in advance. An amazing place and we will definitely be back!!

It was a sight that took my breath away, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and tranquility. The villa itself was a haven of luxury, with every corner exuding elegance and style. The cozy fireplace added a touch of warmth and comfort, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation. The furniture was nothing short of luxurious, providing the utmost comfort and sophistication. If you're looking for a memorable getaway with a view that will leave you speechless, this villa is an absolute must-visit.
