Certain units in the country house have private entrance and are equipped with desk and wardrobe. Some units include a balcony and/or a patio with lake views and an outdoor dining area. At the country house, some units are allergy-free and soundproof. Family-run homestay with friendly/helpful staffs. Clean/spacious room with a little refrigerator and a lot of hot water. The room was also equipped with AC. Ideal location - just next to the river. Meals were served with a wonderful river view. Particularly, dinner with sunset over the river was unforgettable. During my 3-night stay, I had 3 dinners (200,000 dong for each). They prepared different dishes every time. All of them were so tasty - highly recommended. I joined their boat tour (350,000 dong) - visiting a brick factory, a coconut candy factory, and 2 more places. It was an interesting tour. Since free bicycles were available, I used one of them and explored the island and Vinh Long by myself. On the last day, the host gave me a ride to the ferry terminal.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, they took great care of the guests — thank you, chị Văn! A beautiful place to rest, especially for the glorious Mekong river sunsets. Great value for money. Fruit provided with every meal (the staff will advise you that there is generally a long wait time). Loved the privacy and peace of the river cottage.
Cozy , clean, quiete and cheap. The owner is friendly and helpful. The garden in amazing.
The staff were really kind, especially Van, who was always smiling. There were a lot of activities on the premises, like cycling and pool and darts. It was a lot of fun to cycle around the Vietnamese countryside.
Yennie and her family are the most fabulous hosts, we couldn't have been happier with the care and attention to detail! The rooms are comfy, air conditioned and well decorated. Love the outdoorsy feel to the bathrooms. The food is 10/10, having an evening meal there is a must! Not forgetting the homestay pets Casper, Tom and Jerry. The bikes were a bonus too, we enjoyed riding into Vinh Long to explore. Even better when we booked through Yennie for a tour guide to take us out to cycle round the countryside, a must-do excursion.
Very friendly host and family! Delicious home made food Very detailed and cozy accomodation
This place is Eden: you reach the beautiful bungalows via bridges, leading over small canals that sourround them; everywhere are plants and flowers and you are invited to try and eat all the different and exotic fruits hanging from the trees. The pool is clean and nice and the hotel offers bikes and kayaks for free so that you can explore this beautiful Mekong-island by yourself. The family is very nice and helpful and the food is very good.
We liked our small bungalow above the mekong very much. It's basic, but has lots of charme.
Oanh is so sweet and helfull and really does everything to make your stay and enjoyable as possible. The house is really charming and Oanhs homecooked meals are delicious. I can highly highly recommend this place.
A really exceptional place to stay, the room was stylishly furnished and cozy. We loved the bathroom! And the garden! The breakfast was super tasty. We rented bikes for a few hours - well-groomed and clean. Also, the area around Vinh Long is great for cycling. Last, but not least - Yennie and her parents are very friendly and polite people, and we were more than happy having a chance to stay at their place!
Danh is a perfect host, he took us for a boat tour through the river and the canals and we visited some farms and factories. He also helped us to catch the right bus to come back to the Ho Chi Minh City, everything was easy and the locality was perfect to explore the Mekong countryside. His wife cooked delicious breakfasts and specially vegetarian dinners for us, the best food and hospitality in our two weeks stay in Vietnam!
