Lovely old homestead on outskirts of town with beautiful views over open country. Rooms have separate sleeping and sitting areas. Bread, cereal and milk (etc) provided for breakfast. No sink, only a plastic bowl (not easy to find): tricky to fill kettle and bowl from tap in bathroom basin. A wonderful base for exploring the Barossa Valley.

The retreat was in a perfect location to explore Barossa, whether you're wanting to go to wineries, explore the townships or both. The retreat itself is incredibly spacious which is great for a family or a group of friends, with all the amenities you could need for a long weekend away. The Lambert family were very hospitable and if you have the chance, book in for a delicious lunch at the winery! Keep an eye out for kangaroos between the vines too!

Very cute cottages in a quiet part of Barossa. We went for our 1st wedding anniversary and arrived as part of a wine tour. The staff were very welcoming, gave us a free wine tasting and allowed us to check in 1 hour early. The room also had a bottle of wine included and it was lovely!

The location was beautiful. Surrounded by an abundance of trees, we loved waking to the sounds of nature. The property was well supplied with everything that we needed. Beautiful older furnishings blended well with modern conveniences. Peaceful and quiet and convenient to places we wanted to visit. Although there were neighbours, they were obscured by the many trees and gardens on the property and we felt we were very rural. The property was fantastic and we will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family

Staff were excellent, great family business and excellent room facilities. Location was scenic and easy to navigate the area from.

The house was well-equipped and very comfortable. The full kitchen made cooking very easy and the good insulation and air conditioning meant that the house was warm on frosty mornings while I was there. The bed was firm which was wonderful for me. Communication with Rosa was great and she was very helpful.
