We were then able to take a very short stroll to the Hunt Club (pub) for a pre dinner drinks. We came back to the cottage and enjoyed the great amenities to cook dinner and some quiet time alone for our 19th anniversary. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time to really be able to enjoy the full beauty of this property. One night just wasn’t enough.

The small front porch was a good spot for a drink and watching the cows in the paddock opposite. The quiet ambience of Merrijig in the quiet season was lovely Crockery and bowls/plates were provided- this is a nice touch as many travellers will eat in their room, especially breakfast.
