The villa was exceptional. Jeff took us on a “Grapes to Glass” tour and lead us on the “Canapés” & wine experience. Both were very good as a starting point for 3 days in Hunter Valley. Lunch on the patio and dinner at the Gates were both exceptional.

The atmosphere is like a magic place; the owners are amiable. The whole place is very beautiful and comfortable, so relaxing. I reserved a special dinner for two people; the food was fresh and delicious. You can taste the local ingredients. It is a perfect place to escape from a busy work life. Location was central to the local wineries and restaurants. Hosts we very friendly and approachable. The pool was amazing. It was great to see the kangaroos in amongst the vines in the morning. The breakfast and wine provided were excellent. The accommodation was really well equipped, homely and the beds were super comfortable.
