The bedroom was a nice size with a lovely comfy bed and the option to have more pillows if needed. The bathroom was luxurious and roomy. The location was nice, about a 10 min drive to Workington and plenty of hiking routes around.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable room with facilities as listed. Staff in the bar and conservatory were welcoming. Bar had a good selection and we enjoyed our meal in the evening. Outdoor area had lovely views. Hotel was quiet. Great base for exploring the lakes. Check out was straight forward. Couldn’t fault the staff, the hotel, the location, the food or the drinks.
