I don't eat breakfast. I spent most of my childhood living near The Laurels, yet never really noticed how beautiful the area was. A fantastic local pub (The Old Fleece) didn't detract from my enjoyment of my stay.

The hosts were friendly, provided great information and made us feel welcome. The property is within easy travel of some truly beautiful places. The dog loved it to, and felt at home. I could not have wished for more, other than that my stay was longer. Nothing was unthought of, this was truly somewhere special.

We absolutely loved sitting in the lobby area too in front of the fire having a drink and catching-up - you have made it into such a lovely space.
