Rohana is a great host and advised us about the nearby attractions. The Sri Lankan meals cooked on site were delicious, we got even breakfast to-go when we went hiking prepared exactly the way we liked it. We felt very well taken care of. I had travelled to a few different places in Sri Lanka and several other countries and I can honestly say that the stay at Rohana's place was one from the top best. For nature lovers this is a perfect choice.

It’s quiet and you get to be woken up only by the sounds of the birds. It was super clean and comfortable. We slept so well. The property is very relaxing and calm overall. It’s quite a fancy yet simple house. Senaka’s wife has been so nice with us. We had to change our plans last minute and she woke up early to prepare us a Sri Lanka breakfast and packed it for us. Peaceful place surrounded by trees and my room was clean and spacious. I had a lovely ayurvedic massage on the day I arrived and a nice yoga session the next day (Booked separately upon arrival). There's also a nice small church within walking distance. The caretaker was very kind and hospitable. The food was sensational, we arrived here on day 2 of our trip but it turned out to be the best food we had in a fortnight. Highly recommend the tasting menu...it's a lot of food but it's delicious. Indika is a very talented chef. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The views, the pool, the huge luxurious tent...and lots of tortoises! While the accommodation is located on the outskirts of Kandy (and is thus very quiet - a big plus in our opinion), the city centre and all the major sights are easily reachable by tuktuk. Our corner room with a balcony had a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding countryside. The breakfast - especially the fresh fruit - was delicious, varied and more than we could eat.

The rooms were finished to a high standard and exceptionally clean. It is located a little bit away from the centre of Kandy which meant it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was good.
