An amazing boutique hotel in Pragança set in the middle of the Serra de Montejunto. Everything was in immaculate condition including our room, the grounds, the pool, and the breakfast room. Our host provided a filling breakfast each morning, provided ideas of activities and restaurants in the area, and made sure that we were enjoying our stay. A truly relaxing environment to spend a couple of days.

The owners were absolutely lovely, very welcoming, and warm. Made us truly feel like the house was ours, even if only for a weekend. Even shared spirits and wine with us and always made sure that we always had anything we needed or wanted. The breakfasts were delicious and served with plenty. The location was in a beautiful rural area, with access to a main road nearby. Very calm and quiet. It even had parking right in front of our room.

As soon as we arrived, we felt comfortable and welcomed. Sam and Richard are so friendly, kind, thoughtful and generous. We were amazed by the amount of food and drinks they provided for us - enough for all of our breakfasts, and lunches, as well as the first dinner of our stay. Sam’s delivery of a package of warm bread and pastries one morning made us feel so spoiled. We stayed in the Pacific unit with its beautiful old world charm and loved our outdoor spaces. The peace and quiet, as well as the scenery of Quinta do Bom Vento make it an easy place to settle into. The landscaping on the property is very pretty with lots of gorgeous succulents, flowering shrubs, fruit trees and my new favourite tree, the stone pine. The surrounding area was also great to explore with beautiful drives through surrounding vineyards and orchards. We especially enjoyed our daytrip to Tomar and our beach walk near the town of Foz do Arelho. We stayed in four different places during our stay in Portugal, all wonderful in their own way. My husband and I both agreed that Quinta do Bom Vento was our favourite of the four.
