We had no idea that it was part of an estate with a 17th century chateau (presently being restored). The beautiful gardens have been restored and guests are free to visit the grounds. The farmer’s house where we stayed has been beautifully restored with elegantly comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was bountiful and delicious! We were warmly welcomed and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Thomas was an exceptional host who spoke very good English. He provided a wonderful evening meal with no forward request and was most helpful with planning the route for our onward journey. Would definitely stay there again.
