Travelling With 3 kids, we like the privacy and space an apartment can give compared to a hotel room. The flat was clean, 3 spacious bedrooms allow for peaceful night time. Location did not particularly matter to us as we always drive to our destinations. However the area is safe and quiet. A large supermarket and hospital in vicinity. And a thoughtful host ready to help in case we needed anything. Definitely value for money!

It was lovely and had nice views across the field , set in a perfect location nice and quiet , the host Sara was lovely and very welcoming and made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend to anyone , wanting to escape and enjoy a peaceful time in the countryside , you won’t be disappointed.

self catering. The location was quiet, peaceful, with lovely open countryside views from all windows. If the weather had been kind we would have enjoyed miles of lovely countryside walks, but sadly it rained. A lot. That said it was well placed for visits to Sherborne (for the castle) and Yeovil, for shopping etc. , and a thirty-five minute drive to Weymouth. Other close coastal locations were easily accessible from there.

The room underneath the eves was simple but the addition of large bedside lamps and huge numbers of cushions gave an air of luxury. The bathroom was clean if fairly basic. But overall, the room is good value and the views out onto the untrammeled lanes in the Dorset countryside and the hill opposite are glorious and it was incredibly quiet. Breakfast was good value

Beautiful location, peaceful with an amazing outlook into the Dorset countryside. Nice quiet country roads and not far from local pubs and Blandford Forum is just a short drive away. Ideally located for a day trip down to Lulworth Cove for a lovely run across the headlands towards Weymouth. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus and a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.

Lovely, comfortable stay which was quite bijou but adequate for our needs. Quiet, peaceful getaway with views across the countryside. The lanes were a little narrow but it was out in the country. Abbotsbury Swannery close by for a great visit.

The Tool Shed was absolutely perfect, the view is stunning, it is very private. David and Tracey are very helpful and leave you be. Breakfast options are left in the accommodation so you can decide for yourself when to have your breakfast. Everything you need is there to have a quiet, peaceful time enjoying the countryside!

Beautiful, comfortable, homely, and welcoming. Charming and historical, luxuriously appointed, peaceful and cosy. Our room (a luxury suite) was gorgeous and spacious. The bed was very comfortable too, with lovely bed linen. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we could always park. We stayed over Christmas and it was perfect for us.

The location is excellent - in the countryside but well connected. We loved having the play area, tennis courts and swimming pool. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It was a quiet and peaceful spot and very suited to children.
