Edward, Helen & family made us feel extremely welcome, giving us the history and background to the manor and knowledge of the local areas. The wonderful dancing from Edward & Helen’s sweet girls! The breakfast was incredible and our room was sooo comfortable, it made us feel like royalty. I would recommend anyone to try this this place out, you’ll not be disappointed. We will definitely visit again!!

If you love peace & quiet, stunning views, scenic walks right from the doorstep and the luxury of a jacuzzi hot tub to relax in and rest your aching limbs afterwards then this is the place for you. Rosie, Andy and dad Billy along with their many lovely four legged companions are SO friendly, but also give you total privacy. They really are the perfect hosts. We absolutely loved our stay here and look forward to our next visit.
Cosy and well decorated cottage, lovely treats and some kitchen luxuries there on arrival. Great place to get away for a quiet, peaceful getaway.
The unit was very cosy and clean, and it felt like a home away from home. We really liked the quiet and peaceful countryside surroundings, and Sue is a very nice and friendly host.
Peaceful countryside location
Peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed for a short get away from life.
The suite we stayed in was the ground floor of a barn conversion. It was very comfortable and quiet. The location was most convenient just off the main road and easy to find. Once there it was very peaceful surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hotel had a pleasant bar and the hotel, built in the 15th century has some interesting historical features.
I had a deluxe room in the modern annex at the back-very quiet luxurious-there was even another double bed on a mezzanine floor! This is a real gem of a hotel in beautiful countryside- with good food to match!
