From a very warm welcome from the owners, who upgraded our stay before we had even arrived, to the superb breakfast. The building was warm and inviting, the room beautifully clean and cosy. The slightly sloping floor added some jollity to the stay. The open fire in the bar was lovely and added to the cosy atmosphere. The bar was busy with locals who were enjoying having a well stocked and friendly pub nearby. We will definitely be going back at the earliest opportunity.

The location is spectacularly beautiful! The breakfast selections were varied from continental to cooked and there were choices at dinner which were all elegant. My husband enjoyed walking the grounds and the interior was filled with paintings and interesting artifacts. It was a pleasant hotel in the countryside!
