The hosts were so lovely and kind, and kept in touch with me as well as waiting up to let me in when my flight was delayed. The breakfast wasn't made for you, but the fridge was stocked with sausages and bacon and eggs and bread and milk and everything you could want to make a snack or meal. I saved money by staying here and renting a car rather than staying in downtown Dundalk where my work was. The bathroom is shared but there are multiple ones so you never wait, and both are kept very clean. There's lots of hot water. I especially enjoyed building a fire and playing piano one blustery afternoon.

Great communication from the owners. Stunning property. So clean. Beds were so comfy. Home from home feel. Costs about 8 euro for a taxi to the village if you would like to have a drink. Great to enjoy the atmosphere of the pubs and restaurants and then return in a few minutes to such a peaceful quiet cottage

We had a lovely stay at safe haven. Mark is the perfect host he is so helpful and informative about the area. The house is situated under the Cooley mountains with spectacular views around the countryside and is very quiet at night for a good night sleep in very comfy beds. Our little yorkie was made very welcome.

The property is gated and the landscape is absolutely gorgeous! Very quiet and peaceful. Beds were soft and comfortable. Lovely well equipped kitchen and large dinning table The property was supplied with all you need to prepare food,from pots to dishes,including bottles of drinking water and bathroom toiletries. Everything was perfect.

This hotel was lovely and well situated. I stayed for St. Patrick’s day and they had a lovely celebration down in the lobby that I was grateful to have at the same place I stayed. It’s a testament to how well-laid out the hotel is that, even with the holiday, my room was quiet and peaceful and I got great sleep that evening.

Sharon was a great host. nothing too much trouble. Sharon text to see if we had any problems & always at the end of the phone if need be. House was immaculate & location was so quiet & peaceful with lots of grounds to have a walkaround & chill. Just loved this place, I would recommend to anyone looking for a bit of peace & quite & not too far from town. Looking forward to hopefully booking here again for the next film festival.
