The house was very cosy, the furniture antique and the staff very kind and friendly. 10/10 would reccomend.

Gleann Fia Country House is just a 10 minute drive from the shores of Lough Leane, Muckross House and the National Park. What an exceptionally lovely place to stay. It just vibed so right. Plush comfy bed and bedding. Amazing brekkie with local produce. Do not miss the home made bread! And nice convos with proprietors. I am going to try to visit Killarney again just to stay at Gleann Fia Country House again.

Also, Sheelagh was very welcoming and when we asked to stay a bit longer in her house than check out time, she agreed and even offered extra coffee. Very nice stay, highly recommended!

Their home is truly stunning and the location, while only a short distance from Milltown village, is a haven of tranquility. There is no passing traffic and the only external sound we heard was birdsong!
